apparently a got a call from a guy and he was like i was gonna by your car but its a ricer i was like wtf.

Yes, a few things are ricey. Not as bad as some though.

 

Taillights are straight from the rice field. Bumper is ricey. Wing is ricey. Wheels are okay but I hate the color around the lip. Overall, yes, you're car can be considered a ricer. It's much, MUCH better than some, however.

I never said it was ugly. Just ricey. If that's what you like then great. Nothing sells better than a stock 350z, though. Everyone has different taste.

 

Any Japanese with mods will be called a ricer at some point. Sounds like this guy was just trolling... If he didn't want to buy it, why'd he call?

Remove spoiler and tail lights. Get proper fitted wheels
And you'll be fine. Roughly $3.5k.

 

Tail-lights need to go

 

I am not a fan of the wing but I wouldn't consider it rice. I would just say the tailights need to go. Besides that I think it looks good. It is not my style but that does not mean that it is rice.

To me, the definition of rice is 1 of the following:
1. Trying to make a car look like another car (people putting angel eyes on non-BMW, GTR bumper on a Z, etc)
2. Putting on parts that are cheap or knockoff replicas (personally I think Rota's are rice, like I saw a brand new Sti the other day with Rota's, and I thought, why would you put cheap fake rims on a brand new almost 40k car?)
3. Downgrading parts on a car (taking off a perfectly fine stock exhaust to put on a cherry bomb that makes the car sound like crap)
4. This one is strictly opinion, but anything that just doesn't look right (a HUGE wing on a civic, or led lights across the whole front of a 1990 toyota corolla, or fake spinner hubcaps on anything)

 

It's just neon green short of being full on rice.

I actually like your car. A few things I would change:

Rear wiper delete
Tint windows
Paint the door handles and Z emblems satin black
Remove the horse whip atenna and replace it w/a shorty or shave completely, XM ftw...
More agressive wheels, deep dish, better offset to fill in the the gap
BBK would be nice, but thats too much $$$ imo...
Get rid of those eye lids, they look tacky, people pay $ to have 06 headlights, and you're covering them up, porque?

Don't let some chump bring you down, you have a nice car, you just need a little bit of guidance here and there. Im sure you built the way you want it, not to please someone else. There's a little bit of rice in all of us

There's a lot of 350 fans and drivers out there who think anything other than a stock Z looks like ***. To be honest, I'm one of them. I don't feel the need for big wings, body kits, and racing seats in a <300hp car. The cool thing is, though, you're the one that owns the car and drives it - not me or anybody else. If you like the car and you feel it's done right, then don't worry about anybody else's opinions!

 

Yes but it can be fixed:

1. Remove ricer tail lights
2. Remove played out time attacks or Paint them (easy fix)
3. Possibly change wing but this doesn't look bad with the entire car and overall flow...

I'd change the taill lights and wheels and be done. In other words this can be easily fixed

I would not call that ricer, not my taste but certainly not ricer
