thanks man
it is custom made but it is a production piece. styled after the LFA flat bottom steering wheel, the quality is 10/10. also has a steering dampener in it so no vibrations can be felt, feels solid
that's a hard question. i see why gtrs, bmws, exotics are all clutch automatics, you really do run better times, better downshifts with perfect blips. on the street, while another person manually shifts, they fall back one to two lengths, around turns and down shifts by the computer, no wearing out clutch or tranny(components), etc.
i drove the Z today , although i miss the Z period and not the manual tranny.
i can honestly say no i dont miss the manual. i use to be the guy that says autotragic as well, lol. but spirited driving by yourself on empty roads, manual is nice, as long as you have 200whp at least. damn im missing the Z the more i think about it.

gas mileage is great for the size of the engine. that's why its hard not to drive the thing.

its working with no issues whatsoever. it makes such a big difference that i made so many locals a believer. for people who doubt it, prob never used it. but i use it for the better response more than saving gas though ![](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/icon38.gif)

Sad day man. Your Z was probably my #1 inspiration when attempting to build mine. But I have to say I am also considering selling mine....it just sits there in the garage except for a few days each month, costing me insurance premium, while I take the faster and more convenient daily driver out to go everywhere. We'll see. I can imagine it will be super tough to let it go, as you are finding out.
