Nismo Update:
Finally went for a pre-birthday breakfast to my favorite place: The Waffle House! I am glad my fiance enjoys WH as well Also NA(nicole) has not been for a ride in my 03 since well I started to Autox track the car. Not much of a fan of the boost, noises ride and the roll bar/seating position. So for her to recommend we take the Nismo was a surprise. 2 for 2


I can confirm the Nismo is not Boosted... I found myself looking for the kick back and the WOT open angry wastegate... It will be missed but never forgotten. I have boosted both of my NA vehicles with no Ragrets!

The Nismo is very enjoyable. Drives very nice and twitchy. Just as stiff as the 03 with No suspension done. The Nismo is a very well put together car. I do not regret my decision to part the 03. I am contemplating driving it as is with maybe sway bars. I am not 100% sure yet. It has very responsive throttle. I will say that compared to the 03. The 03st had the kick later but the 08 start and pulls very nice through the band.

I did not give her H3ll on the streets. I will see how she does at the next Autox this september. I might try to get to another groups event before GCAC restarts after the summer.

I am extremely happy with the purchase.

Nice find. Good to see nice cars in good hands. You should just keep the 03 because when the new owner wraps it around a tree your going to be a bit bummed about it...

Have you always went with white cars or is that a Florida must have?

 

I think my Dad did it to me. My Fathers business that I know run was always White trucks with red letters. So I have always been around white vehicles. Funny part is he never owned a white truck once haha. Always black or now the Harley edition F150 Black and silver.

I hate to say it but if that happens that might be an "ok" thing? That just means I cannot buy the car back again. I am trying to find a way to keep the car. I just do not want another project car. I know the Nismo is all I need and maybe a 70-71 240z.

Well, there's a few ways you could approach it. You could allow the Nismo to become your guys' project car together.. which is what I would personally do, and then you guys could autox/weekend touge the car together. Then you could start gutting the 03 and keep it as your dedicated track car

Just sayin', this seems like a great plan to me, and would definitely be my approach haha

 

How the old lady sits currently. Still need to swap fenders, spoiler, mirrors hook up intake(when I get one).
