7+ years 3 owners Countless "Plans" Finally Boosted. COP Nismo is Best!
I bit the bullet, FINALLY. If you ask any local(ztouring04 esp) they will tell you that I have changed mind more times then whitey-tighties Disturbing yes I know. How can someone change their mind that many times. I have thought of using every form of power adder's available. N20 to the LS swaps.
I bought the car back in 05 with 4400 miles on here. A hidden jem on Auto-trader. Listed with a picture of a Miata. I went to see her. Love at first sight. Put a 5k deposit on her and went back two weeks later to picker her up. Best moves I have made with my cars. 3 years later I made the worst by selling her I need to refi the house and the car was money just sitting there. I just wish the mortgage company told me before I sold her that I needed to bring NO Fing MONEY. So I drove a rapper van(my business truck) for two painful years. Going to meets, yes in the van, seeing race cars drive by. Made me very sad. So I started my hunt for a new car. Evo, STI Diesel truck and of course a Z. When looking for "a" Z,PPW track low miles, I ran across a very similar looking Z on Autotrader... There she was all glorious just as I sold her. My old car! Last page again. So I made one call before the seller. My Dad. He knew my love for the Z. Tried telling me no I will help with the house. I always told him no I need to put my big boy pants on. When talking to him I told him I found my next car.. He asked what I told him my Z... O another Z? Nope my exact old one. SO I called the owner told them I know the car I will pay X amount and I will fly up and drive it home. They says Deal and away I went...
Skipping through the years. She is back with her rightful owner. This guy... Countless changes through her life. Still trying to perfect the plastic surgery. One thing I know is her hearth will be ticking a little bit fast now, as well as mine. After being 99.9 percent done scrapping parts together for a Turbone***s build, sorry for the language, I scrapped that Idea. Thats when SOHO Motorsports posted up a Momentum kit installed tuned OTD for under what my TN kit was planning on being. I had to jump on that. Talked to Kevin and Nik at Soho. Got them the funds(finally) and now they have my baby to start doing some minor heart surgery.

awesome story, i read it all.
My only reccomendation is to step up the turbo to possibly from that standard garret 35 to a Precision CEA Billet BB turbo.. the cost difference in only slight and the power potential and spooling quicknes is even more out of control. This is what I had done w my powerlab "2.0" kit.
I'd also add a Mishimoto Oil cooler kit and up your capacity for oil by doing so as well.
I think i bough mine brand new on ebay very cheap, like 150 bucks.
fuel pump sounds good, injectors may go up to 850s...( if you up'd the turbo to the 6266 etc) ...maybe bring it up w your shop/tuner?
I bought some DEI heat mat for the entire firewall and trans tunnel while it was all out of the car.. did the power steering cooler upgrade from one of our threads. Also VERY cheap, like 35 bucks for a new larger core.
You'll want to make sure you have a decent clutch like the JWT to hold the power.
ANd your exhaust will make a difference in total power and spooling too.
I went w an elect cut out at the down pipe to solve that.
Just some ideas and some cheap add ons that will really help your overall build and satisfaction.
And they are all things I did for my car w a "similar set up" too lol.. so im not peanut gallery/talking out my butt
EDIT::::
I assume youre staying stock block, so in fact the bigger turbo and injectors may not really be in the cards for you.. but you certainly have a pump for it to all be upgraded in the future. but that oil cooler for sure should be in there to help you keep your car around to enjoy. I think theyre great ven for NA cars.
otherwise ur list sounds good.
ENjoy brotha!
BTW what did you do w the TRIAL TRIFORCE kit you had? Im sure someone would love to ****** that up around here.

Thanks my Dude!! Main culprit for making me want boost. All those Greddy twins 400hp rides...
Man your a poet and didn't know it I had to
Thank you sir I am 100% not sure what wing I have. It was on the car when I first made the purchase. I have been searching. Members have been searching. The closest wing I found was a JSP 300zx wing. I recently bought a Nismo v3 so this will be coming off. But I might hold onto it for sentimental reasons
Thanks bud.
Hollywood blockuster I know. Instead of "The notebook". "The Receipt" (said while swiping hands and looking into the sky like a director).
I plan on adding an oil cooler down the road. I really like to "Do it myself" Just in a little time.
I have the JWT Combo installed. Did that about 4-6k mile before. That was phase one of the TN kit.
I was planning a cutout. will that effect the tune I have from soho? I was also thinking of an open wastgate dump thoughts on That?
It was the Wings west lip kit I have. Never the trialforce.
Thanks for all your guidence. I have looked through your thread.
Thank you sir
Sorry I couldn't pass up the deal. You wont be disappointed. See reply #1. Look forward to your progress!
