My bets on the wheels are from Streets of Willow , the chicane off the back straight and the 2nd to last turn getting on the front straight. I like to bend my wheels there.

OP when are you hitting the track next? I'm thinking i'll hit the extreme speed event next month at Big Willow for the Corner 3 challenge.

I was never a fan of big willow, it isn't "technical" enough. Streets and button are my game. I think I'll hit up the march event at streets.

I still haven't found anyone who can weld it since the canister is titanium and the pipe is stainless steel the weld will burn right thru it.

the only way it can e welded is by friction welding (pretty much taking to pieces of materiel, one being stationary, and spinning them against each other until the friction creates enough heat to automatically bond them). However, I don't know where one would go about doing that -___-

Love reading through these and seeing the progress people have made. Did you notice a huge difference in cornering with the Hotchkis 3 way?

not 100% sure but if the outside metal is fairly soft it should clamp it well enough, a hell of a lot better than it is. Plus there are TONS of cars that come factory with clamped exhaust, so I'm sure it would be fine, just depends on the materials of the exhaust, not sure how well they clamp.

That is one of the best mods you can do to your z. Turn in becomes much more flat and sharp.

Look at what I found tonight....

<a href="http://s117.photobucket.com/albums/o50/sharx59/?action=view&current=DEE81826-6EC7-4F57-9E47-05BE188FE325-4147-000002B9C6E5CD6F.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o50/sharx59/DEE81826-6EC7-4F57-9E47-05BE188FE325-4147-000002B9C6E5CD6F.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos" /></a>

Found this after a tech at an alignment shop had pointed it out... I have no idea how long I have been rolling like this. Safe to say I was pissed! Someone somewhere didn't care to bolt down a vital part of the car.

Bright side, no real damage was done. I just took a mallet and went to town putting her back into place. Bolted it down with some Home Depot bolts for a temporary fix until the parts arrive to my nissan dealership.

As a precaution I tightened down a couple of the struts mounts at the top in the engine bay. Found one to be loose and the other I stripped....( whyyyy!!?!). So now I'm gonna order that too :'(

^^^thats crazy! this is why i dont let anyone else touch my car.

on the ap exhaust, mine is not nearly that bad, looks like its crimped different then mine. i would suggest a t-bolt clamp, and put some high temp silicon around the seam. a cheap easy fix.
