The more i look at my car with the carbon hood, the more i dont want to paint it.... ugh.. i may just have the faded areas/buffed out (if possible), have it re-cleared, and live with the minor cracks that are here and there. they're not terribly noticeable. decisions......

Looks good B Murray. I also think it looks best with the CF hood. Is there no way to repair those cracks?

I'm going to run it by a local body shop and see what they say about the cracks.

If the cracks are light on the clear coat you might be able to take care of it, but if it's actually pretty thick it might not be so easy.

I would think that a good sanding, polishing and heavy on the clear could take care of it. I've heard of some sealers out there that fill in small scratches/cracks, but don't know if it relates to the CF application.

It's a goner, I'll pay for shipping to dispose of it for you.

It looks great with the CF hatch, pillars, and black roof! With it cleaned up good it looks awesome from 5 feet back.

Again, it looks great on your Z!

I took some rubbing compound to it earlier and I can tell it actually helped some of the fading. Still some leftover, but I may be able to deal with it lol

I think you've changed wheels like 5x since you've had this car. Do you get the TPMS switched over every time? Two of mine are out and the stealership wants $450 to replace those two and install them. Ridiculous. Thinking about just getting rid of all 4 or just not worrying about them.

Haven't had TPMS since the OEM wheels haha. Luckily the RPF1s came with them though. But yeah i just didnt worry about it. $450 damn lol. I would try and find 2 used ones (usually 20/piece on ebay) and have them swapped in.

I can buy a set of 4 for less than $100 I just don't want to pay and arm and a leg to have them installed and programmed either. I'll probably just not worry about it. As always, sick looking Z sir.

Definitely feeling your car bmurray. Our cars have some similar parts (Nismo v2 kit with no canards, TS hood, wingless, similar drop) so your taste in mods gets a thumbs up from me.
