Thanks King!

so some that keep coming to mind that i definitely want to do....

-PPE/FI/Motordyne Longtube headers are going to be my next big purchase... (tony confirmed they have some in the works, but if a good deal on some PPEs come up, im not holding out anymore.

-tomei 264s (can get a pretty good deal on install if i do them and the longtubes all at once)

-i'd like to change up my kit a little... keep my nismo v2, but switch to amuse sides and amuse rear valance.

-i also may switch over to southbend clutch setup if my "like new" ACT clutch is slipping next time at the track, which i believe is a big reason why my MPH was down so much..

Definitely keeping an eye out for that new Motordyne long tube. Bet it's not going to be cheap though. Lots of great plans you have there murray. Never hear of the amuse rear valance before.

BMurray, I'll have the Shine Amuse front bumper cover (spec a) with their front diffuser and those side skirts maybe in a week; haven't decided yet about that rear piece (Shine calls it their spec a half bumper) which they also offer.

*Yeah, I'll keep my eyes open for word of any new MD headers! No doubt they will be a hot item; Tony would not release it otherwise. Also, if you go to Southbend clutch, you may look into stg. 3 since you do 1/4 mile. My stg. 2 hasn't slipped, but Coz at czp at first thought I should go stg. 3, then said 2 would be fine. Keep up the good work.

I actually saw this rear with a single and it looked really good. The exhaust holes aren't real large or distinct. Kind of subtle so it's not really noticeable that I'd be "missing a pipe" haha!

Motordyne headers I'm guessing what he's referring to. I was gonna get the momentum/Z1 headers. Curious the cost of these bad boys.

Heart dropping moment this afternoon...

So I've been on vacation the past several days. Drove down to Myrtle beach last wednesday night. (around a 4 hour drive) hadn't had a problem all weekend long. Today left to drive back and about 2 hours into the drive, my girlfriend noticed little bit of smoke coming from under the passenger side dash.. Like a week ago, i dropped a socket in the engine bay, and could never find it, so I assumed that it is like melting or something... So about 10 mins later, there are literally little clouds of smoke coming, so i immediately pull over.. Open hood and smoke comes out pretty significantly. I look behind passenger side wheel under the car, and everything in sight is covered in oil.

Got it towed home and going to look at it tomorrow. I'm praying that somehow the oil filter just worked its way lose.

Oil was extremely low.

Last oil change was March 6th and 66,616 miles, and i just hit 69k miles..

Will update tomorrow :/

I too hope that is something simple to fix. Good that you stopped before any internal damage could happen. Waiting for the good news.

So good news.. there was a little pinpoint sized hole in the oil filter. Last time I did the oil change, i dented the filter very slightly.. I asked a few people what they thought, if i should get a new one and they said it will more than likely be fine. And it was for several months, but I guess after a couple long drives and getting on it a little bit that day, the oil pressure was getting pretty high and maybe punctured it or something... i dont really know.

question though, its still smoking though and im assuming its just the oil thats thrown all over the engine/cats/headers/y pipe burning off? how long will it take for it to stop doing this? lol.. a little embarrasing.
