Kinda Sorta build threadish maybe?
This is the story of how I purchased a premium luxury sports coupe and ruined it with nonsense and Tom Foolery.
I bought it private seller out of Jersey. This is the company the Infiniti kept. That Porsche has way more carbon fiber than what seems neccessary. lol...but in a good way. That Jetta is loud, fast, and raw. Seriously. Guy took me for a ride and I almost pooped my pants. It's soooooo raw. And, they have a fully built and road ready Civic. Like pulled out all the stops. No corners cut and even if you don't LIKE 4-bangers, you had to respect the work that went into it. The owner (a VERY attractive young lady) of my car wanted to get another Porsche. She was thinking 911-RS or something she said. But anywho..

I won't get into the UBER backstory but I'll give you a few details as to the car. Fairly clean 2003 Infiniti G35. Bose stereo, Nav, Brembos, roof, gussied up. Started with a bit of maintenance. Had to replace my front hub. There was some serious curbage that broke a bolt from the previous owner (whom was a woman). No big. There were a couple of clips behind the front bumper that I needed to replace. My guess is that fcukery took place before hand. I replaced a headlight bulb to later find out that it's a wiring issue. Was kinda pissed about that, but life happens.

Next was getting the visuals under way. That resulted in me ripping off the spoiler. Literally. I got bored at work one day ripped off the spoiler. Had to do a bit of sawing and pulling, but I got that ugler fckuer right off of there. Then, I shaved all the emblems and I made dirty words with them and took pictures.

Then, I started working on the interior. My shift **** was attatched with industrial glue bled from the sweat and spit of the gods (apparently). It took FOREVER to rip off. But it was well worth it. Now, whenever I shift, I have a budweiser handle. Awesome. I know. I also bought a Grip Royal steering wheel with NRG quick release. I intended to buy a rope chain like Junkyard dog used to put my steering wheel on when I go clubbing.

My munchkins drew on my center console. Kept me from doing a carbon wrap over it. Love those little guys (munchkins are what I call my 2 boys...
)
Next was suspension. I slammed the car on it's knutz. Literally had the frame on the ground. Then, I raised it slightly above that. I have SPC camber arms for it but I've yet to install them. Based on my yearly mileage of this car (maybe 2kish) I'm not yet concerned with tire wear.

Kept it like this for a while and took it sliding quite frequently

Couldn't keep a crappy trunk forever.

Wheels needed a lil bit of helping looking good. This is how I got'em
Then, it was rebuild time:

Did a lot of wheels actually. That (was) my homie Jason's house. He likes wheels. He helped me get my get right right.

And finally

So, I had a friend takes some pics before I got my fronts dialed in...which looked really goofy...but whatevs

And how it sits today:

The end...?
Most of my (non-motor) plans is just suspension. Aesthetically, I won't be doing much else. Since I do like to get it sideways on a track on occasion, I don't see myself spending much on body stuff. I had a Gailla rep lip for just under 2 weeks. Some of it is still behind an AMC movie theater in the parking lot. Most of it is in a dump somewhere by now. Ultimate goal is LS+T56. So, questions, comments, concerns?

Thanks for the compliments.
