Default Cjw4050's Build Thread!

Hey guys, so i thought i'd put together a chronological picture show of all the stuff i've done for my car.

This week marks the first one year I've had my z

and man it's been awesome.

April 2013:

I bought my 2008 nogaro red base 350z for $17,200 (18k miles on her)
The car came already modded with hps intake tubes, k &n dropins, bassani exhaust, test pipes, rpf1's, blitz spoiler, veilside lip , and a uprev osiris tune

Pictures of her in the for sale ad on here:

First thing i did when i got her was put clear sidemarkers on and black out the handles

Size: 112.0 KB

I then sold the hps intake tubes and replaced them with the injen cold air intakes!

After browsing pictures of 350z's i fell in love with HKS exhaust, so i sold the bassani and found an authentic HKS on craigslist for only $750!

After that, i was getting tired of the stock look so i decided i wanted an amuse kit

I found a used shine auto kit off a member here and got it cheap!

I then decided my rpf1's front wheel gap was terrible and i didn't wanna run spacers...

Decided to sell them and get XXR 530's and use the leftover cash for coilovers

Wheel specs:

19X10.75 +15mm 285/35 rears (michelin pilot sports)
19x8.75 +15mm 255/35 fronts

Also got my rear fenders rolled

You sold rpf1's to buy xxr..? Op, I probably wouldn't have followed your exact build, but looks good, I really like the amuse kit.

Rpf1's had a terrible front offset... and bad specs, plus i wanted 19's

I really loved the look of the xxr's and they were cheap and came in awesome specs
I bought some nice *** coilovers with the left over money so i think it was a fair trade off
I don't track my car or anything so i don't need wheels that cost thousands of dollars to make my car look cool when these do that just fine lol.

Thank God you got coilovers. It looked like you were driving a monster truck! I liked the red better than that teal too. Each to their own.

Maybe do the cwest rear addons...dont have to be CF... that way you keep stock bumper while enjoying the stock rear bumper with exhaust "tuck job"

Not much fan of wrapping but looks pretty good otherwise..
