Default My Custom Llama Skin Seats & Beaver Fur Interior

Said no one ever...but now that you're in here you might as well check out my new leather seats and custom interior

HUGE shout out to Dark Dog Customs. I've known Mike, the owner, for a few years now and he has always done a flawless job on all of my interior upgrades. He's done all of my interior work, except for the carbon fiber and my steering wheel.

I was sort of going for an OEM Plus theme and decided to keep my power/heated seats and airbags, so I went with a set of seats covers from Leatherseats.com. My carbon fiber work was done by Tony at Carbon Fiber Element; and the alcantara & stitiching on the steering wheel was done by Joe at JPM Coachworks.

Here's a breakdown of everything that has been done:
  • Synergy Suede wrapped: Headliner, A Pillars, Rear Hatch Strut, Speedo Cluster, Waterfall, Center Console, Door Switches, Door Handle Covers
  • Red Leather & black Suede Door Cards with contrasting stitching
  • Black Leather Door Armrests with red stitching
  • Black Leather & black Suede Knee Pads with red stitching
  • Red Vinyl Rear Strut Cover with embroidered Dark Dog Logo
  • Thickened, Flat Bottom Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel with black Alcantara Sides and red stitching
  • Carbon Fiber Wrapped: Steering Wheel Control Covers, 3 Gauge Pod Covers, Cubby Door Switch, Shifter Surround, Passenger Door Handle Cover
  • Leather Shift Boot with red stitching and Tommy Karia Shift ****

And last but certainly not least...
  • Red Leather Seats with black stitching

On to the pics, enjoy...

Looks amazing! Who did the actual modification to the steering wheel? To make it a flat bottom?

Carbon Fiber Element did the wheel work. I bought an OEM wheel off of eBay and had it shipped to them (New Jersey) to reshape it. Originally they had done the sides in perforated leather, but after I got it I wasn't happy with the outcome, so JPM Coachwork redid it for me in alcantara.

BEAUTIFUL interior!!! I'm sure the power force of the airbag would pop it open in emergency but just wondering if the new leather cover is compliant and safe?

Thanks! Yup, it is, the thread used around the airbag is a thinner cotton material that is designed to break loose when the airbag expands, just like the OEM seats, and Mike is certified from Nissan for working on seats with airbags.

Do it, do it!
The only true alcantara is on my wheel, the rest is called synergy suede, which is hell of a lot cheaper to use than the real deal Now if I can just get my Z as clean as yours, I'll be good to park next to you again at ZdayZ next year.

Very nice interior, I'm going for the exact same style in my interior "OEM plus". Props to the companies that helped make this happen. I will say, I'm not a fan of the alcantara center console or the red seats, but I still think it all looks really well put together! (Plus, what kind of world would we live in if we all got the same things!) Love it.

I'm a bit disappointed there was no llama skin and beaver fur interior.
