the windows are tinted actually. 20% all around. it was just so bright that you couldnt tell.
not a big fan of bodykits, but rims are on the list of things to get. i dont have any funds for anything right now though. dropping it would be sweet, but i live in michigan. you know what the roads are like here? its bad enough as it is with the ride height let alone dropping it some more.
so far i have:
injen cai
grounding kit (garbage)
nismo oil cap
nismo radiator cap
painted engine bay
UR crank pulley
2 step colder denso plugs
front grille
EVO-R led side markers
20% tint all around
lambo doors
painted callipers with decals
slotted and drilled rotors
momo floor mats
25mm h&r rear spacers
nx nitrous wet kit with opener, heater and dual purge
xerd test pipes
cf fill-ins on the front and rear emblems
i think thats it.
next on the list are a cf oem style hood, spacers for the front wheels and maybe some gauges to finish off the n2o kit because i get sick of looking back to check pressure and such. but thats going to have to wait because im lacking funds right now.

i like my cars stock look, because its everything but. you can easily tell its not stock when you have it next to another z or look under the hood. the picture doesnt show too much detail such as the slottled/drilled roters, painted calipers, cf emblem fill-ins. its just that everything i've added to it is either under the hood or very suttle changes on the extrior/interior (check my list of mods near the top). the only way to make it look "modded" is by putting on it a bodykit which i dont like (ill go as far as an oem style cf hood), or get some nice wheels which ill be doing soon. other then that i dont see what you mean by "looks stock". should i buy some stickers...would that make you happy? heh. there isnt much left that im going to do to this car anyway. so in a way, it is my icing on the mod cake.
oh and thanks for the compliment nissan350ztt.

Nice looking Z, especially with the door.
Is this the direct bolt on kit from "vertical doors" or "carexcess"?
Which body shop did the install? Any issues to forewarn those who will do this mod?
Again, sweet looking ride.
Rgd,
Mickey

thx for the input trix. i've gotten the same reaction out of most of my friends on buying a cf hood. doesnt look like its going to happen anytime soon anyway, so i can sit on it for a while and see what happens.
mickey...i bought it believing it was a direct bolt on with "minor" modifications like the fender rolling. i was way off. i got the kit form aspecmotorsports.com, and it is the same decah kit that carexess sells only carexcess modifies it to fit the z before they send it out. either way i dont see why they need to charge an extra 1200 just because they modified it themselves. it was a pain in the a$$ to finally get this thing put on by a "qualified" installer. i ended up paying more in labor then i did to buy the kit. i dont recommend you go to first class auto in livonia. i've had problems with them before and had them again this time around. i dont know if they are terrible and what they do, or the kit was just that hard to install. either way, it put a dent in my pocket and i was without my car for 2 weeks. most of the kit had to be welded on for it to work, in case your wondering. but after all that.....it was well worth it. peoples reaction alone is enough to make it worth the trouble.
oh and if you plan on getting this mod done, save a little extra cash because you'll have to modify your door panels so they wont rub when you open the doors up. im working on the cash for the one right now.
you should try to make it to our next meet. that pic was of the last meet we had at bw3.
