Place:
Texas Motorplex
Date:
April 6th (Friday)
Time:
Doors open @ 8:00 PM
Race from 9:00 PM - 2:00 AM
Physical Address:
7500 W. Highway 287
Ennis, TX 75119
(click for map)
Nothing is set in stone yet, but we may have a bigger turn out than our usual 2-3 racers. It seems that the guys from Houston area is wanting to come to our track and run with us. Hopefully, people actually follow through and be there (most of you don't show, but post anyway
). Who knows, I may even get the track to give us a discount if we get enough people.
Instead of having dyno battles or bench racing, come out to the track and show everybody how fast you and your car is.
If we have enough people racing (spectating is boring, trust me), perhaps we could have our own tournament. Just an idea. Of course non-NA cars would be in their own categories, to be fair.

Here's a gigantic post that responds to everybody that posted so far..
Roz, are you coming too? You gonna go back home that weekend? We can cruise down together if you want.
Brian, quit saying that shlt. I know you're gonna come.![](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/icon17.gif)
Vic, you better be there. I'm in need of a challenge! (JK to others who read this.
)
Creed, you have to let us know soon. After we get a good amount of people, I'll call the track and see if they'll allow for some discount or something. Dallas people don't seem to like drag racing much, so don't expect too much of us. And as for the place to stay, I think there's a couple of motels or inns in Ennis close to the track. Then the next day, you can come to the Don Davis meet.
Cubu, if you have a certified helmet and think you can do better than 13.99, bring it. Also, leave the spare and the tools back at home. You should also have about 1/4 tank left when you get to the track for best results.
Anthony, send me a pic of your sister first. I'll evaluate and rate her based on the picture and then decide if she's worthy of watching me tear up the place.
JK
edit - Brian, what the shlt is this? Why am I 2nd on the list? I set it up!!! I want to be first!!

cubu...Your gonna need your dl/insurance to drive to the track (of course) but other than that you dont need either. The only thing you will need your dl for is to rent a helment. Ive got dibs on a helmet

Brian, that's a low blow. Who's the only person to go under 13.8 on our track? Me. Hit 13.7? Me. 13.6? Me. 13.5? Me.
PWNED!!! BTW, you don't need a helmet son. Don't worry about it. Oh yea, I can change your post too. ![Smilie](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Cubu, if you don't have a helmet and don't think you can do under 14, then don't worry about it. If you do break into 13s, then they'll let you slide the first time. After that, they'll enforce the helmet rule.
