Where: Razzoos in Richardson (Southwest corner of 75 and exit 23 Spring Valley)

There was a lot of confusion and what not because nobody could make up their mind. So, I'm starting this one in an attempt to clear up some confusion.

Yes, there is a picnic meet the G35 guys are having. We did not know that when we first planned for this meet. You can choose to come to this meet or go to the other one (just quit posting about the other one in this thread - we know about it).

honestly i don't think this meet is going to make it.. there are less than 2 days left and i don't see a list of ppl who are going (some are going to the G picnic)... i'd love to go and hang, but don't wanna take the risk driving all the way to find no one there, like our first meet at grapevine several weeks ago...

The meet will make it. If it turns out to be a "hang out" of a few members, that's fine with me as well.

I don't know if you read the other thread or not, but we planned this BEFORE we even knew about the other meet. Then, people couldn't make up their minds and went back and forth. In the process, people went up and signed off our meet to sign onto their meet.

Nobody's forcing you to come and you can always go to their meet. No feelings will be hurt. And if this meet's a flop, then who cares? There will be other meets.

This thread's main goal is to gauge interest back into our ORIGINAL meet. If there won't be many people coming, then the people who planned on coming to this meet can go sign back up on the G meet.

 

I think it's funny how these meets keep requiring two threads everytime......of both times at least. Pages and pages of stuff and no final decision. This is May 10th Meet V2.........lol.......USDM.........lol.

 

The last thread was fine.. until people started canceling, then reinstating, then can't make up minds, then people saying they're going to the G meet, then people trying to get the word out for the G meet that we already know about, etc etc.

 

I think if someone is going to create a thread for a meet, they might need the spare time to keep up with the thread and all of the replies as well. It's a responsibility really. You take ownership of the meet. I don't know of that other guy with the white Nismo has the time though. Nice guy...but just don't know if he really has the spare time to be posting on here as much and 'controlling' the thread/meet plans.

We'll have to find a routine that works. These first few meets will be trial runs. Hopefully it's not winter by the time we get it right.....lol.

 

Well, he is new (perhaps on any board). He's definitely a chill guy.

We'll get this working eventually. I still say that we meet, but if there's only going to be a few people, then it may be better off just joining the G meet.

I also have another car "meet" and then a birthday dinner and getting wasted to be done that day, so not having this meet won't kill me.

 

Okay, I'm fine with going to the G meet then. I just looked it up, and I'll actually be closer to this meet than the other one anyways.

Not to confuse anyone in this thread... 3 5 0 just hear me out without yelling at me...

I was talkin to Robert today (NISMOFO) and he said that he was going to the Z meet in Richardson at Razzoos. I told Robert that if the turnout was not good there, that the Z guys are more than welcome to come and hang out with some G's and Z's in Arlington. Some of you have my cell phone #, so call me for directions. We will be meeting up at Speedzone around noon.

I was under the impression that the other meet was a G meet that we ended up getting ourselves invited to. And I also thought it was later in the month. I was wrong about both of these things.

I'll be at the Z/G meet this Saturday at River Legacy Park.

 

Seems like this Dallas/Richardson meet is an abort mission. We'll plan on this location on the 31st if the list doesn't grow to 10 cars by Friday night.

Yeah, I'm going to the other meet.....well, if we can find a place to have it...lol.

 

Oh, I'm not mad. I'm just annoyed that nothing was set and neither of the two meets is finalized. This meet had potential, I think, but things came up. And the G meet, even with lots of prospective attendees, is still having trouble finding a place.

Anyway, it doesn't matter. Meeting up with fellow VQs is what's important, not the location. I'll try to make it to the G meet.

It doesn't look like we will have a big meet Saturday in Richardson. So let's meet up and go hang with the G's if a place is final(shaky). May 31 is good. So I'll be there at speed zone.
