Default [DFW] Dyno Day! Jan 31st, 10:00AM @ Corvette of Dallas

Hey guys,

The DFW G35 club is having a Dyno Day, and we'd like y'all to come join us. The full thread can be found on g35driver here:

http://g35driver.com/forums/dfw-g35-...-day-whos.html

To summarize, we are getting a great price for dynoing with A/F ratios of $39.95 This will be held at Corvettes of Dallas on I-35E and Beltline, on January 31st, 10:00am. They have an in ground dyno jet, so lowered cars are not an issue. The list of members from driver so far is:

1) Mad A
2) Dom
3) llut5at
4) hound138
5) g35man04
6) StuLax18
7) KsuMax
8) BlueBOB
9) dc78chs
10) JD

Hope to see you there!

I might go for comedic purposes since my car is slow and worthless.

Ok, so from here we have:

1. 05 PPW Z33
2. DracoLancet04Z
3. BeejZ

Usually for events like this the shop requests a down payment in advance, as they have to block off the dyno for that day, and if people don't show up, then they will lose a days worth of dyno tuning and dyno runs.. In our case we are lucky enough that they are NOT asking for a down payment, so please add your name if you are sure you will come out.

Also, to add, there will be a cipher there if anyone wants to change some things or log parameters.

I was told that the price would be much cheaper by on the G35Driver members last week if more people came.

So, it looks like it's $40 for 2 wideband pulls.

What kind of a dyno is it?

Mad A (just the guy I was hoping to catch on here), you got PM.

I'm definitely in for this. I've needed to check my AFR and see the approx # I'm putting down compared to my N/A #s.

I know the price was always in the 30s.
First post says in ground dynojet.

The price will be $39.95 including taxes etc. They are talking to the owner to see if they can get it any lower but for now that's what it is.

Ok, so the list here so far is:

1. 05 PPW Z33 (in)
2. 3hree5ive0ero (in)
3. DracoLancet04Z (maybe in)
4. BeejZ (maybe in)

I'll be there to at least go and hang out. I don't know about $40 for two pulls though. That price is high to me. I could buy more nismo parts with that money....lol.

If you can get us a better deal for dyno pulls with A/F ratios, please tell us where!!

Back when I used to set up dyno days with HPP in Lewisville, we got 3 wideband pulls for $40 even. We had 3 dyno days at this price over 2 or so years.

Can you talk them into giving us 3 wideband pulls? I'm thinking of getting a baseline nitrous pull, then adjust on the dyno with the jet sizes for a mix of max power and best afr.

Every other dyno day i've been to included 3 wideband pulls for that price I think.

Maybe this is just a sign of the economy in trouble...lol. I love how that's the excuse for everything now...lol.

We can try to ask for a third pull. Yes, I have seen previous dyno days at 40 bucks for 3 pulls, never seen any cheaper than 40 though, and usually they needed some kind of down payment before they block off that day.

Three pulls gives you a good average. Two could pull will just give a high and a low.
