I wish I could have gone to this. But my one of my new Yokohama tires chunked after only 6 sessions, and they refuse to replace it. Oh well... have fun guys, I'll be looking forward to the videos.

oldschool.. don't forget spare brake pads and spare rotors... you boosted guys are going to use the brakes.
never been there, but according to R-factor there is one brutal braking zone and two quite long with some trail braking... I can get a speed of over 130mph with a 997 cup and brake down at 30/35... you probably will be faster. I don't think to go over 110mph with the nismo.
my brakes are new. I have 2 extra rotors and some pads. I'll be taking it easy...you guys will be passing me going "this guy is boosted?" lol.

yes, for the first 2 laps....
btw, seriously bring at least a set of front pads... just in case.

I feel ready.. I practiced on R-factor and flipped the damn 997 cup on any turn on that track.. sometimes even double flipped. I'm damn ready!
I should make a movie of all the accidents.. some where quite spectacular.

7 session on the track... 5 on the camcorder... I'll post them eventually.
was just AWESOME.

the cooling mods (oil cooler and ps cooler are great)
no PS fluid spilling and my max temp on the track were 232F for the oil and 217F for the water. on a ~95F day.

what a day!

p.s.
I kick ***!

That was a great day for me even though it got cut short because of brake issues.

This was my first track event and i learned a whole lot from Matt and his 240SX. I felt like i was doing ok. one of the few in green group who didn't spin. lol. people were all over the place.

Thanks for making that happen guys!

Was that 232F before or after going to your oil cooler?

Looking forward to the videos... I'll need to learn MSR Houston for LeMons in October!

232 before going to the cooler and the water just before going to the radiator.

Hey, we weren't all that bad. I never hit the grass, although i wished some in our group would let others pass

Overall, that was a great event. Thank you, guys. The Z Club is certainly a great bunch of people with equally great rides. I was the one with the G Sedan whose mod list is.... two child seats firmly attached. Thanks for letting us join in!

just messing with you guys... it's quite normal.. in the noobs group usually people watch so hard 30 feet ahead of their bumper that they wouldn't notice a horde of strippers on the side of the track.

I mean they NEVER see blue flags or check the mirrors.
