I like the Northpark idea. It's like a mile from my house.

That was what I was going to say.....it took them about 2 minutes to kick of off the roof at Willow Bend Mall....and that wasn't even a meet.....it was a pre-meet.

We can still go to a mall though...we just need to be customers. And also there is a variety of food there as well.

I picture everyone returning their car to stock for the mall meet so that their shyt doesn't get jacked......lol.

I say we meet at the top level of a mall parking garage............if security kicks us out then we go to location B a ground level parking lot of a nearby store.......say like a Target or something................REGROUP.......

and then from there cruise - straight to the eat spot (a place not in the mall).

Either way, its not like we dont have a few of each others phone numbers......if peeps are lost in the interim...

BESIDES, mall cops will find us on the top level only if we make our presence known........if you guys go reving engines going up the parking structure then sure mall cops will follow.........

As long as we are not going to Valley View mall off of 635 I think we will be okay

Besides people at North Park or Galleria all have cars worth more than ours lol (Most of the Time)

I wouldn't worry too much about northpark. I've revved it all the way to the top of the garage for pics and drove right past a security guy in his golf cart. I think I even did some donuts. Just don't get 15 cars lined up doing it.

I'm sorry, every time I hear of mall security I think of Paul Blart: Mall Cop,,, I would think as long as we all didn't show up together in a line of say 15 350z's all at the same time, then we would be relatively unnoticed on a busy mall weekend in the garages...

But if we're going to be in the area of Northpark, then my two cents worth of cruise ideas would be to make a lap around white rock lake - its less then a 10 minute drive from the mall right down NW Hwy. I'm down there a lot when I'm cycling, and there is always nice scenery. Some weekends though the place is packed with ppl; just something to consider.

shoot a group of like 5-6 of us go up there at the same time and never had any troubles
the mall cop has stopped by to talk with us even (about the cars) he didnt care as long as we were not speeding and acting ignorant

+111111 on white rock lake. I love driving around the half of it that's right on the water. Back when they had construction I would weave in and out of the cones at night. It's maybe a 5 minute drive down NW Hwy, there's only like 5 lights.

Yeah the problem with regrouping (if we get kicked out) is that people always show up late......and sometimes they don't have anyone's number. So we loose a few guys (or girls) that way.

Definitely need a plan to stick to...it also helps to park somewhere visible to the road so that anyone can see us....we have easily attracted new 350Z forum members that way in the past.

I agree on skipping the mall food....sorry, I was getting desperate for ideas.

Is anyone going to the Cars & Coffee meet the morning of 7/25/2009. I think we need to really detail our cars and show up to that because there were very few cars in the Japan section last month. 2 - 350Z's....2 - 370Z's....3 - GTR's and a few other cars.

It was well worth the drive & time to see so many really - really nice cars there all in one place.

Just get there early rather than late because it will be very hot & some of the cars left by 11:00 AM.

An Umbrella would be a good thing to bring...as you guys know from the last meet.

I missed it last time when my phone died overnight so no alarm. I think I'm out of town on the 25th though, so august is my last chance for awhile.

It's not such a far drive for me...right next to my work. But the meet is officially from 6:30-9:30am now, so that is why so many cars were gone by 11am. I didn't park my car in the meet last time, but I will this time. It's hard to compete with Ferrari's, Lambo's, Carrera GT's & a Veyron....lol.

If you come to this meet guys, just don't do anything stupid or make a fool out of the Z owners. We don't need a bad rep with this crowd....this is a nice mature & laid back meet.

northpark mall on the 4th floor of the parking lot along I-75 is always empty. A drive from there to white rock is only a few minutes. a cruise and photo shoot on white rock might be cool
