I'm just a regular member who happen to have a red name tag. It's really nothing special, trust me.

Skip it. What's more important to you: autoX where you'll have a blast or some appointment where all you can think about is autoX?

Looks like you understeered (in fact, I know you did.. I was there ) and wore out your tires.. that's expected, so no worries there. Also, my Z is one of the earlier production ones just like yours and I still have feathering issue (and I'm lowered). I live on and continue to drag race and now autoX. Let's race.

yeah... i still have the young "grasshopper" status when it comes to the autoX...

but i'll be up and running soon enough... (hopefully with some R-compound) and back for more... In the meantime, i'm going to find out which wheel is lighter (my stock or my aftermarket)... and get the tires for that set... as wider seems better i'm in favor of my 19" shoes at this point...

Awesome, glad to see we are going to have some Z's there.

So whats done to the rsx to put it in SSM....and shouldn't it be in SM since it does have 4 seats? SSM is for all the 2 seaters....and since it is FWD you should jump into the new SMF class There was a decent showing this year at nationals in SMF.

jbh1,

if you haven't done anything to your Z then yes you would be in BS.

Or if you have just light mods (exhaust, suspension, intake)

BS is stock, modified Zs would be BSP.

Yes, have not even washed it lately so definately BS.

What tire pressure should I start with? I will have a compressor with me to make adjustments if neeeded but if I need to air them up higher I have a better compressor at home.

I will be there by 8am. I did not see how to preregister so hopefully there is plenty of room.

Wouldn't it be more fun if all the Zs ran in the same heat (guaranteed if all in BSP) than risking being separated like last time? For novices, classes don't even matter since you're not going to place on the podium.

1. 3hree5ive0ero - Chris - BSP 350Z
2. LegionnaireZ - Anthony - BS 350Z (not driving though)
3. Davidb - David - BSP 350z
4. xxelmoxx - Elvis - CSP RSX
5. JBH1 - Brad - BS?? 350Z
6.

OK,
Had a good time, it was a lot of fun. My first event to drive in. First run was 50ish. Second 47ish, third 46ish, 4th 46ish, 5th 45ish, and 6th 46ish.

At least I improved over each run (except last). This was on an all stock roadster with stock type tires. I would hope I could shave off another second or 2 with just more seat time. I know DavidB was running 40ish with suspension mods and very sticky autoX tires.

I plan to do some more events in my stock form for now to improve my skill. Then later on I can look into a set of better rubber for these events.

Looks like everyone else enjoyed it as well.
