Question [Hou] Handgun Owners Meet

I was curious if a couple Z/G handgun owners would like to meet up at an indoor range, shoot a couple (hundred ) rounds, talk guns/ammo and maybe swap guns shooting? I personally own a Glock 23 (.40) and Glock 36 (.45ACP).

yea Kimber are OUTSTANDING, but this one hasn't been broken in yet so it still jams on like every 5-7th round...supposed to be broken in at around 1,000 rounds or so...

also I've got a nice range down close to my place for rifles, shotguns, and pistols. Yea it's a little out of the way and it's an outdoor range. But they've got some good things going on. LOVE their skeet traps

lol, yea they come with a big card with a warning on it that pretty much says to "not depend on it until you've fired AT LEAST 500 rounds"

the tolerances are way too tight (good thing) and it requires a little wear and tear to get everything just right

Well I can put 500rds through it like nothing. But still... That one time you do need to depend on it and it fails might be your last.

yup, thats why I carry my XD right now...tried and true 10,000 rounds with one malfunction...and the malfunction was that the "charged" indicator pin didn't pop out once...still fired

Craziness. No problems with my Glock at all. Only have about 60rds through the G36. But have a couple thousand rds through the G23.

I was thinking Shiloh Indoor Shooting Range off of 1960. Plenty of lanes and might be able to get a group rate. Also give discounts for current/ex-military and law enforcement officers.

Group Tactical: $25.00

How's Sunday January 3rd sound? First Sunday of the month/year. This will also give us time to find ammo if needed.

Lastly they offer a Beginner & Advance Tactical Class. The beginner class is on a Tuesday at 7pm. I've been wanting to take this class for some time now. Those that have the basic handgun knowledge and basic firing time might find this class beneficial. Please let me know if you're interested.

Went to Shiloh today. No group rates but Vet & Law Enforcement get a discount.

For those interested in the tactical class(es), it's a first come, first served basis.
