Default Driver's Edge HPDE Texas World Speedway March 13&14

I will be taking my Z to the track for the first time March 13 and 14 at Texas World Speedway. Anybody else planning on going? Anyone know which way it is running?

I ran my Lexus IS350 there in October, and got bumped up to the Blue run group after day 1. I hope I'll be able to keep up in the new car.
I was surprised there were not many Z's or G's out there. I saw only a couple of Z's (one was my instructors car. I think his handle on the forum is "mthreat").
My friends are coming back with their Cobras too. If you've never done a track day, Texas World is a lot of fun for the first time. It's got everything, high speed straights, sweepers, a hairpin and plenty of elevation change. Rick and the rest of the crew are very cool, as well as everybody in the paddock. See y'all there.

It will. I graduated in May. Work as a newspaper reporter, get paid crap, but can still save just enough to hit the track.

Seriously did you see what one track day did to the Road & Track long-term test M3 in last month's issue. There was nothing left, but they liked the tire.

Personally, whenever I have the need and the money, I plan on getting some RPF1's and going with a square 265/35/18 setup in the Nitto NT05. The Nitto seems to be the best for the price. They are less than $200 a piece.
