Mo, you should swap yours with Jason (Nexx).

Swapping means you would swap entire pumpkins. no internals, the entire diff from one car to another...

the longer gears will help your acceleration MO.

By swapping your current 3.3 FD (for 5AT) with a 3.5 FD (for 6MT), you'll be making your gears shorter. With shorter gears, you're not changing anything except gearing. You'll be able to accelerate harder in each gear (better acceleration) but you'll lose a bit of top speed. Therefore, your power output doesn't change but the increased acceleration will certainly make it feel like you gained power. Additionally, you'll be at higher RPMs at the same speed (ex. 2500 rpm @ 80 mph vs. 3000 rpm @ 80 mph), so there may be some loss in your MPG (barely noticeable)

Shorter gears are better for N/A applications; taller gears are better for F/I applications.

BTW, I'll be out of state again I can't make this meet, neither.

+1, watchdawg its a free performance upgrade for you.

longers gears for me allowing me to stay in each gear longer when im putting down 500whp or so. shorter gears for you to accelerate quicker. you know how people upgrade to 3.9 or 4.06 gears? you're doing the same thing except its not as extreme and its essentially free since we are just swapping pumpkins.

^^^We will be doing multiple installs... hope you get them ordered asap cause most places didnt have them in stock when I ordered mine. Also call around to see who would do the install (like shops and dealership and what not)... you'll be surprised on how much $$ you saved...

DIY FTW!

if your talking about the translink, yes, we can do it that day. we are doing "drifter5's" that day as well.

but like jake said, you have to get the replacment bushing mailed to you by then if you dont have it already...i say call around and overnight it.........."from japan" lol....

na, call Z1 first...see if they have it in stock..
