Default Houston Tech Day...Sunday, March 7th

WHAT- Houston Tech Day
WHEN - Sunday, March 7th
TIME - 11AM till ?
WHERE - Street Dreams Unlimited
601 Curtis Ave.
Pasadena, TX 77502

Bring your Z’s and mods/fluids you’re looking to install and we can plan a day of installs and fun!

There is a fridge in the office but a cooler for your drinks and what not is always a good idea.

JasonZ-Ya has many DIY threads you guys can look up.....

We will also have Clint the GT-R Technician from Clearlake Nissan hanging around and helping out if you have any super technical questions. He has worked on many of the 350Z's that belong to guys on that side of town and knows his chit for sure.

This is a great way for those to learn, so plan on getting dirty. It’s a day where you learn to do your own installs with the help from those who have done it before-along with access to all the right tools.

Sign up below and post what you would like to install or if you just want to show up and lend a helping hand.

# --- Screen Name -Real name - Car - Mod to install --- #
1. ReaganDee - Reagan – 350Z – Replacing my Right front Hub assembly and Rear Wiper Delete
2. Brainleash69 - Jason - 350Z - Skunk2 Plenum Spacer

Depending on what kind of work Derek has in the shop at the time there are a possible maximum of 6 bays that can have cars inside at a time. This largely depends on how mobile the customers cars are inside the shop.

Derek has a healthy handful of equipment at his shop but let's be sure to bring our own sets of tools if we have them since he doesn't have 12 sets of every socket size we might be needing.

There is an Advanced Auto Parts one block from the shop if you need to pick anything up day of and for used motor oil drop off if you are changing your oil.

Other things to bring:
1. Jacks and jack stands
2. Change of clothes
3. Cash in case we want break for lunch or pitch in for pizza. (Stay Tuned for an up date on this but Derek mentioned cooking some BBQ while we work so that might happen)
4. Folding chairs if you have them please.
4. Beer if you want it – BYOB (no getting hammered drunk since most all of us will be driving home)
5. Bring gloves - Harbor Freight - 99 cents.
6. A good attitude and ready to turn wrenches!

*Note*
This event will live and die by how much interest there is so lets make it happen people!!

I'll request to get off work that day, should be no prob since my GM is a car nut too. Only tools I don't have for the job is a torque wrench, but I may be able to source one if the shop doesn't have one.

# --- Screen Name -Real name - Car - Mod to install --- #
1. ReaganDee - Reagan – 350Z – I am sure I will find a thing or 2 to mod
2. Brainleash69 - Jason - 350Z - Skunk2 Plenum Spacer

Would love to install my GF210 springs and rear camber arms would that be something we could do there? If so what about the alignment I'd need afterwards.

Springs and rear camber arms could be done for sure at Tech Day ... sadly no luck on the alignment that day at the shop but im sure you could find somewhere monday morning to do it for ya

If you wanna come out just repost with your name added to the list with me and Brainleash that has been posted a bit up the page ... so we can have a feel for how much work we are gonna have on our hands
