DFW - AUTOX EVENT - Whos going?!! April 24th!
Good idea, who going to the TMS bus lot next Saturday if the weather cooperates? Surface is consistant I head but less grip. NTAXS is hosting the event, 8 runs again. Same format as the BMW group.

It was great seeing so many new people out to an event. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and is now bitten by the bug to get some more seat time.
All the clubs in the area are very helpful, and can offer free instruction for drivers looking to get faster. Check www.dfwautocross.com for a list of upcoming events.
If you really preferred this more open style of course then I would certainly recommend you check out http://www.texastimetrials.com/
While the time trials calender does not start for a few months they are an excellent opportunity to get as many laps as you want for a low low price.

Definitely a good event. I hope I get some sleep the next time I go, cause I was out of it most the time. But still lots of fun. Got a free instant tan line and burnt head/face even with sunblock. What more can I ask for? lol

hell ya, very fun and fast event, i got the mad tan as well........no prob on the pizza......had a blast!
I 2nd everyones excitement in regards to the event & also thank Jason and his wife for picking up our lunch. I also wanted to thank everyone for coming out and representing our forum, our cars, and our passion, that goes for the wifes/fiancee's/gf's also. I think I speak for all of us when I say thank you for being there and supporting our endless spending.

I must say! I'm really really really happy with the turn out! I'm glad DFW showed up and came out to the event! so many more than I expected thats for sure!!!
I'll go to races alone......... i love it! BUT, its great to have fellow Z buds out there tearing up asphalt with ya!!! glad it was such a good turn out!

Mad props to Quackeroatmeal - to showing up and having a blast! it sounds like hes hooked and a autoX'er now!! 
Mad props to 3-5-0ero who did great by the end of the day.......having an instructor ride with you and give you pointers is key for all.......

Hey Jason did you find anymore out about that possible half day autox/time attack for 350z's? I think we could get a pretty good number out for something like that. Plus more seat time

These events are nationally recognized, people from california or even farther will come out and try to win the competition portion of the event!! D1 licences will be given out most likely to the top placers so they can go on to compete at bigger events elsewhere!

ah man, that looks mad fun. ok, the next pennington event im there. just not sure if the Z can handle something like this. looks like your either in 2nd or 3rd most of the time and i dont get any tracshun in those gears lol.
it would have been funny to have people asking whose 240 it was running without the bumper.
