I really enjoyed this location for AutoX.... So I plan on going to the next one for sure....

I liked the consistency of the asphalt surface even though it was slick..........

I liked that this location had restrooms and even showers walking distance away.....and the separate between pit and race made for an uncluttered event for sure!

Tree's to plant yourself under, etc....good times..good times..

look back at it, that turn was a higher speed right hand turn that was "downhill"....its too easy to end up drifting there....

gotta keep making it out to events................Ill be the first to tell you that i cant make it to them all.........so dont look to me for making a thread...make your own, round them up and hit the track............

in San Antonio, TX I would get to AutoX events on my own......the only Z there at times......

I do need more drivers mod for sure lol but I've only been doing this for a little over a year (I think like 6 autox's and 2 track days total).

When I was living in El Paso I had to find the SCCA chapter and everything there on my own. I didn't have any friends that autoxed out there. The chapter out there isn't that big. They would get maybe 20 cars out at an event and usually the same people. I was the only z the entire time I was out there. My first event I met a couple guys and we would go to events as a group. I try to make as many events as I can, but sometimes I just get busy.

Had a blast out there and meeting some new people since it was my first AutoX event.

What are you using for suspension/tires?

 

Stock suspension with the exception of SPC A-Arms so I can adjust the front camber & caster. Dunlop Drezza Star Spec 255/35 and 275/35 Front & rear on 18" rims.

Front Right Camber/-1.78 Caster/+8.24 Toe/-.06"
Front Left Camber/-1.70 Caster/+7.97 Toe/-.06"
Rear Right Camber/-1.97 Caster/--- Toe/+.03"
Rear Left Camber/-1.97 Caster/--- Toe/+.03"

Wear thus far appears pretty even after one weekend HPDE and 2 AutoX (no street use).

Chris, too bad you missed it. TMS is a great location for AutoX...it is like in your backyard as compared to the Mineral Wells location.

Where were you ? Damn it was very cool....I will be at the next AutoX atr TMS. I don't think I can get out to Mineral Wells.

By far one the funnest things I've done with the Z. You really know where you stand on your skills as a driver and the limits of your Z.
