R-S3's

They are on backorder but should make it in time for the event. If not I still got some tread left over from the PCA event that got rained out.

Edit:
Looks like their ETA is the 12th so I'll be able to get them mounted the day before.

Damn you Gavin ! Ii was hoping for at least one event where I might of had an advantage over you with new tires.

I will have my tires mounted and ready for some punishment !

We should have a fun event this turn out.

Jon is right...we need to have a better system for this Pot luck.... or start to enlist only a couple of of per event to be in charge of lunches.

So apparently BMW has added a new rule stating that you cannot have any passengers unless they are a designated instructor for the event and they are riding with you for the purpose of teaching you. GAY

Wow. That isn't cool.

What exactly is the justification for this? Ken or Jerrett?

Insurance thing. Some groups are more strict about it.

So my wheels showed up today. Any suggestions on where to go in the FloMo-ish area for some good tires and mounting? Also what aspect ratio should I be looking at for 255 and 275? I was thinking 40's but after looking around now I'm not sure. Thx.

What size rim are you running ? 18's or 19's ? If your running 18's then you could go 40's...but I am going with 35's.

Just gonna go up to Discount tire to get them mounted.

I have 265/35/18's & 285/35/18's Mine are going to get mounted this week also ! I can't wait for the next AutoX !

Yeah... the 18x9.5 pf01's. I may not get to actually run with these on May 14th if I need fender rolling with this setup. Unless that magically happens this Sunday I'll be on my stock wheels again.

I think the tire I'll go with is the BFG g-Force Sport. I know it's not super for autox but I'm a beginner and they are reasonable on the price. My options are:
245/40
255/35
265/35
275/35
275/40

I'm a total noob with tires. Any suggestions from these options for a F/R setup? Is 245 too small on a 9.5 wheel? I guess I'm leaning toward 255/35 and 275/35. Is 35 gonna look lame on stock suspension? This is all new to me. Thx!
