All participant vehicles must pass Tech Inspection on site.
Tech Inspection begins at 8am and will close at 9am.

Location: Mineral Wells Airpark - 5300 Airport Road, Mineral Wells, TX, 76067

Night Schedule

All times are approximate.....a rough guideline.
Our intent is to have drivers do at least 5 runs in the daylight session so that they can familiarize themselves with the course... With 20 drivers and a course time of about 50-60 seconds.I expect each session to feel a lot like our fun run sessions.
Ideally.. drivers should also be able to get 4-5 runs at night.

3:00 PM - AUTOCROSS COMMITTEE arrival/setup
3:30 PM - Tech inspection opens
4:30 PM - Driver's meeting
5:00 PM - first car off - group 1 - 55 mins
6:00 PM - first car off- group 2 - 55 mins

6:55 PM - DINNER BREAK

The dinner break is a chance to enjoy the Texas summer sunset, grill, cook out, and socialize in a away that we just don't normally do at most autocross events since everyone will be taking a break at the same time!

8:05 PM first car off - group 1 -55 mins
9:05 PM first car off -group 2 -55 mins

10:00 PM Finish

Last year. Most drivers had the best results by driving with headlights OFF and parking lights and foglights ON.

Keep in mind that the NIGHT autocross is on Saturday. The regular points paying event is on SUNDAY. Normal times apply for the Sunday event.

I'm not sure, but if if anyone plans to run both events, you may have to register for each event independently.

I just signed up for both events. I didn't register for each day independently, I just clicked the link that included both days and paid. - Car 'Y' - #72
I'm mostly stock (NISMO intake was on the car when I bought it a week ago) and I doubt I'll have sourced decent wheels and tires for it by then. It doesn't bother me though, I just want to go out and have some fun with this car!
I'm headed out to SCCA Solo Nats tomorrow (STR S2000) so hopefully I can chat with some some other Z drivers up there, but I don't think this car is too competitive when abiding by SCCA Solo rules. Please feel free to explain why I'm wrong, though! I'm looking forward to meeting some other Z owners!

Sorry for the OT but...
I wish I had seen this before I left, we were gridded a few spots down from you (53/153), that miata looked great! I stunk, the car owner trophied, haha. Hope you did well!

Don't forget to register for this event at DLB.

A lot of people wait until the night before. Don't lose lose your spot; sign up early!

We'll have night racing Saturday, and day racing Sunday. Can you think of a better way to spend your weekend? No.....you can't.

Too bad a lot of Z's aren't going to be driving on it.

Two Z's?

We already have double the amount of S2000's showing up.
