Cool! Glad to see our event made your Championship list.
I have pretty much finished designing the course, but it is not quite ready for posting. It uses all of the site, so it will be plenty long. I will post it closer to the event.
I look forward to having you guys out there.

Yep, I am in Mike McShane's black Miata. Gold wheels, screaming chicken on the hood, BAN ONE license plate, Burt Reynolds mustache, and all. I even have East Bound and Down on the iPOD. Too bad Mike had to cancel at the last minute, so I brought his car without him and picked up a different co-driver. We race tomorrow and Friday.
I am instructed not to return home with the mustache or sideburns.

Good Luck Jerrett, I want to see a pic of the Mustache.
Anyone wanting to check in on Jerrett can see results of his first run here

Pick the "east thursday" link and scroll down to the str class. Its a tight class, the difference between 8th and 31st is one second.
Not sure when his second run group goes.
Hey Jerrett if you see David and Kim tell them hello. Looks like Kim put down a great time.
See ya

Good luck, there is a bunch of nice times there.
Which course are you running ? I saw 2 courses an east & west course. I guess you'll run one each day ?
Did that yellow lotus really run that fast ? Sheez.
Scott, go to his FB page to see the stash & chops.

I feel like I am holding back because I am not trusting the car like I would my own, but I left myself in a position to get into the trophies tomorrow on the West course. Just .6 out of the trophies, which would move me up 15 spots. One second would put me in the top 10! Yep, that's close racing.
I coned my first two runs, so I was relying on the third run, which was clean, but it was a slightly slow. Then they tried to add a cone to my third because I coughed up a cone that my co-driver drug in under the car from his last run that we did not know about. When it popped out from under the car on the first turn, the corner assumed that I hit a cone. That got fixed, but then they lost the time for my second run, so I got to take a fourth run to make up for the lost time. It turned out to be my fastest. It was the most drama I've had with timing, that's for sure.
The West course is a "slollapalooza" -- a ton of slaloms. I feel pretty good in this car on the slaloms, so maybe that will help.
It might also rain. Ugh!

BTW, the times for the Lotus were not too great. Slower than mine, actually. I do not know the guy or the car, so I do not know if those times are normal or not. However, the guy winning that class drives a turbo-rotary Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite that is incredible to watch. Check it out here:

Wow...that was really nice ! That Austin Healey hauled & handled awesome.....driving was very nice.
Oh here is a swipe from the times that I thought I saw that Yellow Lotus....but it must be a different one....And it was this Lotus.

That Elan is fast!
The pic to which you refer is an E Mod Lotus Esprit.
Just make sure with the width is greater than the height. I know that the Infiniti FX meets this criteria because I checked on Wiki a little while back. We require that trucks and SUVs must either be classed in the SCCA rule book or that the width is greater than the height.
