As some of you might already be aware, the HEB School District increased their insurance requirements for hosting an autocross at Pennington Field. Neither the NTXAS nor Equipe Rapide (ER) hold insurance policies that meet the new requirements, and it would not be cost effective for either club to obtain the necessary insurance. The SCCA, BMW CCA, and PCA all have nationwide insurance plans meet the new requirements, so it is possible for them to still hold events there.

This means that we have change the venue of our 9/30/12 event from Pennington Field to West Mesquite Memorial Stadium.

In regards to our 11/17/12 event that did not previously have a venue, I have reserved Mineral Wells Airport for this event.

 

I got the feeling they didn't want us to race there anymore anyways....they squeezed us out of the Paddock area and put the noise restriction also.

What about Grand Prairie/Lonestar park ? Too expensive ?

 

Yep. They raised their prices high enough to get rid of the autocrossers. No club can afford them, now.
