Lone Star Chapter BMW Autocross #4 - June 23rd, 2012 Mineral Wells Airpark

Registration is now open for the 2012 LSC BMWCCA AX #4 Saturday, June 23rd, 2012.

Even if you've never autocrossed before, come on out at give it a try. Instructors are provided for novices, and people wanting to try the sport.


Cost is $30 for BMWCCA members. If you're not a BMWCCA Member, register, forward me your new member confirmation (along with your DLB login info), and I'll register you for FREE!!!!!!

Tech Inspection:

All participant vehicles must pass Tech Inspection on site.
Tech Inspection begins at 8am and will close at 9am.

Mandatory Driver's meeting at 9am.

First car will start around 9:30am.

We will have 5 runs in the morning heat, and 5 runs in the afternoon heat. 10 total runs per driver!

Rides in instructor vehicles are free. A helmet must be worn. There are a limited number of loaner helmets available for those that do not own their own helmet. (Helmets must be rated M-2005 or SA-2005 or newer)

 

Michael, I will be most likely be there....It is out a little far for me to commit 100%....but I will help out with anything you need.

You know I got your back....or maybe I should say you were on my back last race ! Lol Made me almost loose it and spin...but I kept it together....you should have just past me !

I love the idea you suggested for the July event ! Can't wait.

That is part of a time trial course the Porsche club uses. That will be just a faster section compared to most AX.

You going to be there Chris. Havent seen you in a long time?

 

So, there's the overall autox time and then a separate time from the section labeled time trial?

I was there a couple of months ago, but you were busy with something else, I think. I'm moving back to TX, so if I'm back before the event, you can count on seeing me there.

Just one time for the course. The PCA club does time trials out there also, they have maybe 6 courses they use each year. So if you happen to have driven that course before you are going to be familiar with that section. No big thing.
