And you did!!!

Again, good call on the drive today gentlemen. Glad I decided to fight the rain and come down from Baltimore, the weather turned out to be fairly decent. I will try to post pics ASAP. See ya!

G'Money4...you're crazy dude!!! Thanks for showing me the way home.

Damn!......As we were leaving Evolution, going onto Rt 50, my damn Vortech starts giving me problems - no fuel, car would only accelerate sporadically....i had to pull over...restarted the car...but couldn't catch up with you guys...then I went to do a u-turn on a side road, backed up to far over a little grass hump and GOT MY DAMN CAR STUCK!!! Within seconds, a huge pick up truck pulled right over and helped me out with a chain. Then I began to head back...AND THEN all of you went right by my CS z flashing your light. So again, I uturned and tried to catch upo with y'all but couldnt....Im sure you all went a different route,, I took that nice drive on blue mountain road till I got to rt7 i think, then just headed home. My vortech has been running great for 10k miles and right before a nice drive, FLOP! Hope you guys had a nice ride.

Aaron

Geez, sorry Aron. I didn't even realize you had pulled off. Sorry if we left you behind. Let us know how the supercharger works out.

Great drive today all! Hope everyone had fun given that the route was really a roll of the dice. I'll post my roadside flyby vid and the pics that I took later tonight.

It was nice to meet everyone on what turned out to be such a nice day.

And hey, the Vineyard made a few bucks off of us!!!

Kelly, you took us on a very long road to the vineyards but it was a hell of a drive. Nice to meet with you guys.

Actually, I'm curious as to everyones perceptions regarding the length/location of the drive. This is the first "group drive" I've ever participated in, though I know the last one the Cap. Area G35 Club did was about 10 hours long. I figured this was a little more reasonable, and I'm just not that hardcore!

What did you all think? Was this a good length? Too long? Too short? Too out of the way? Too slow? Too fast? Enough stops? Not enough?

Hope it was enjoyable for everyone.

Kelly, thanks for your initiative and attention that facilitated today's drive. I think it was just about perfect in length and distance, and the vino was a great touch. That said, I could use alot more of rte 17 and roads like that as opposed to higway cruising. Great meeting with everyone. Hope others enjoyed it too.

great drive everyone...can't wait for the pics to come through. I thought the drive was a good length and i like the stops. very impresssed with everyone's modification, giving me way too ideas to do to my mostly stock car. again great drive, hopefully the winter isn't too bad or long and we can work something like this out again.

Personal opinion...well who else's opinion am I gonna give, a public one? This one was good. The last we one did on Rte. 250 was kind of rare. Usually we'll do Skyline drive and that would be a solid ~350 miles round trip. Today for me it was only about 200 miles RT.

It's fun to get a huge 500-600 mile drive in every once in a mile but you need to throw in the shorter drives like today in. The lenght I thought was good and it was fun stopping at the vineyard. Speed was good except for that friggin' gas truck.

I need to find some fun MD roads so you guys can come up here.

It was great drive, haveing a goal of somewhere to go really helped. I would have driven a tad faster the 1 side road but the would be it.

I was the first to leave the vineyard and off I went ot Charles Town and donated $50 to W Va economy in about an 1.5 hours

Nice meeting and seeing everyone

Mark

PS what kind of manual trans fluid do you use ?

Yeah, but we took care of him!!!!

I thought Blueridge Mountain Road was a complete blast! Never passed that many cars on a double yellow before!
