Hey all,
The next "Z Dayz at Tail of the Dragon" event is in May and I was wondering if anyone else is thinking about going. If you haven't heard of this, you can check it out Here

I saw some video of this event from 2004, and it looks like a really fun, relatively affordable time. It's a weekend event centered around one of the premier driving roads in the country, and I think they do a 'show' of some sort, and have sponsors and such.

Now is the time to start planning, and group rate codes already exist for next year. If anyone else is thinking about going, post up here. Maybe we can caravan down.

 

I have been there in both a car and on my bike.......If you go with a group you will find that the po po are all over you, they will let you have some fun but not as much as if you just go down and get crazy on a weekday! Anyhow this is a great time and a great place to drive but don't be suprised at how many bikes are there....

 

what BLK says is not true... at least not in my experience with car drives. Maybe they come down harder on bikes.

While ZDayZ does not suggest breaking any laws while driving the Dragon, this organizer has been told the police are fairly lenient when it comes to speed... what they come down hard on are double yellow violations.

Drive reasonable... stay in your lane... and you should stay out of trouble!

Yep pencil me in.....I was booked to go to the last one but something came up at the last minute, but a group drive down there would be awzom....or is it over there.

 

He he...It's in a general southerly direction from both of us, so I think "down" is fine. My dad always used to correct us with "Down South, up North, out West, back East".....

Whatever gets the point across...I'm with you, I think a group drive would be sweet! Hopefully we can get a handful of people together!

i may go...if i am able to bring a pretty young lady with me. i''ll be working on that as soon as i get back to school tomorrow

 

As requested....Some of these are pretty big, but worth the wait. Gives you a great feel for the kind of driving you can expect to do and the numbers of cars that show up to this thing....
