That's correct. Now I've got a question. Is that a typo for the max A/F ratio, because his curve peaks at about 14.25 @ 5700 rpms and goes no where near 17.5 (which is a good thing)!

You pulled peak power on your first run at something like 3700RPM and on your second somewhere over 6000??? That doesn't make any sense! Was the first run for some kind of normalization, or is it really just wasted?
EDIT: Ok, I think I'm reading these graphs wrong here....I was assuming that the HP and TQ lines were in pairs (i.e. taking roughly the same path across the graph), but if you go by color coding, then it's the opposite.

Ben, can you educate us on how this works?

Second run's typically makes more power on a dyno day because cars have been sitting around in the parking lot and the transmission fluid, rear differntial fluid, etc. have cooled down and cause more drivetrain loss until they are heated up to normal operatating temperature. We allow the car to idel for a minute to heat the engine oil before we make a run, but it takes a little longer for the drivetrain fluids to reach their normal operating temp.

yea but who can run there car w/out oil like me?
I have to say that was funny to see the look on AAM guys faces before I told them the pressure guage wasnt hooked up.
busted my bubble later though

it always going to say max 17.5 if u base it on numerical order. at any point in time it could be 17.5 most likely its from deacceleration because theres going to be alittle lag from the receiver to stop the run. Once a run is complete the accelrator pedal is released fully closing the throttle body, this doesn't allow fuel to flow as much, very little goes. I hope this explains your questions.

Guess I'll go ahead and throw out a pitch here....
The server that EnthuZiastDrive has the videos hosted on is my server. Check out (and bookmark) the following when you have a chance. While my connection isn't the fastest in the world, but the server is a hoss....

Just a little something I put together for the local community, though I don't know how much use it'll get, but sign up anyway!

You're dynoing higher than most stock Z's so that is good!
i got 17xxx on mine with injen exhaust, high flow cats, popcharger and i had a reflash done for all that plus headers which haven't been installed yet, hopefully after i install them it should be a little better

Despite my car looking like crap, not taking to the reflash, putting out weak numbers on the dyno, and this ticket...I did have a great time Sunday and hope I can make it for the drive on the 29th. By then I hope to have my car looing better and pulling harder. time will tell.
yea I am talking my car in this thursday or sat at the latest. Hope to have it back for the drive on the 29th HINT HINT HINT!!! lol
should be a beast seeing as I am dumping over 5k more in motor work cant wait though first HKS fulled modded. I know AAM is looking forward to this just as much as I am.
