Default 460 rwhp on Dyno. See graph!

JoTech did a very fine job by customizing this single exhaust system. It is as straight as possible, using 3" tube for the pipe, no cats, no resonator and wastegate vented to atmosphere. The car get great performance but unlike the previous owner "Skidazzle", I could not keep up with the sound level inside the car. When the car is boosting, I felt like being in those kind of small propeller airplanes at take off, used by airlines to connect small airports. Also, unlike cops in Texas, Fairfax PD has some kind of Zero tolerance with modified cars. Already got 3 tickets. So I took a big step. Wastegate were re-directed to the Y pipe, 2 Hi-Flow Magnaflow cats and a resonator were installed. The sound is much quiter, mainly inside. I had some concern about the performance. Good news after a precise tuning, the 2 Garretts 28 Turbo keep produce a good amount of HP. Check the Dyno graph. 460 rwhp and 437 for torque. The snow we had lately did not allow me to enjoy my "new Z". Cant wait...

Very very nice INDECIS...that car is a real beast. I got to hear this thing at one of the drive meets in Chantilly at Evolution. That thing sounded real man and loud.

Yeah man!!!

I was at the shop with Alain during the initial dyno runs after the cat/resonator install. Watching (and hearing) that thing on the dyno is just unbelievable!!!

Congrats on the good numbers Alain. I know when I drove it, the butt dyno was off the chart!!!

Incidentally, do you realize that your car is putting down more power than the upcoming Corvette Z06

If you figure that from the factory crank rating, my car loses about 50 HP through the drivetrain (Nissan quotes 287CHP, and I put down 238.7 RWHP), if your drivetrain loss is similar, you're at about 510 CHP. The new Z06 is supposed to be 500 even, and I'll bet that tranny generates more power loss..

Go get 'em!!!!

I guess you decided not to sell your car then? Sweet, now maybe I'll get a chance to see it this spring at a meet or something.

The car is still for sale. I am just in no rush and as long as I own it, I may as well enjoy it the best I can.

Just a question, and it might due to the type of TT system, he installed but the curve looks different than others, as it seems to go as others due in route to 400 RWHP around 5k it takes a 50 HP or so jump, it is almost like it was a sequential TT not separate TT. Just curious.

By the congrats, awesome car I got to see it when Michael came to Florida.

Maybe. Usually domestic cars dyno much closer to their rate HP than the Japanese counterparts. Case in point 99 Z28 rated for 305 HP, just with SLP air box mod dynoed at 295, etc. Z rated at 287 HP typically dynos around 236 stock.

Wierd curve... my TT curve is almost the same as my stock curve except a bit higher. GReddy piggyback keeps the curve the same I suppose. Hopefully I'll hit 410ish at 7 psi when I get my car tuned.
