Default Quick help: how to replace front wheels

Hey all,

I just put on my rear wheels but I'm having trouble getting the fronts on. Reason being is the pin that Nissan has on the front rotors so that you can't goof and put the rear wheels up front. TireRack's invoice says that I need a 12mm wrench to remove that pin... however... I can't obviouslly take it off otherwise the rotor will spin as I try to remove it. It seems tight.

What should I do at this point?

Have somebody apply the brakes while you turn the wrench. That will keep the rotor from spinning. That or use a big 7/8 wrench between the lugs to provide counter pressure. Trust me, that pin isn't in there that tight.

Actually... moments after I made this post, my stepdad got home. He used the 12mm socket wrench onto the pin and hit it with a rubber mallet and pop it came off!! :-D
