I think you should leave the rims and springs on the G. Let the girl drive the G w/o the SC, and you go and get your self something right out the box fun!!! Lose the other two vehicles. Right now you have an Old QX4 and an Older BMW= A new car + your pretty G toned down for the future wifeys daily driving. I do think that would be the most sensible thing to do. ( that is it she likes the G enough to drive it )
I am getting ride of my Altima I am 22yrs old and I dont think I need two 04's setting around. I havent driven the Altima in almost 4 months. and the only place I drive the Z to are meets and the grocery store on Sundays. Pretty lame eh ? With gas prices its cheaper to fly anywhere anyways... So I am switching to a civic Hatch (prob like a 92-95) just for a winter beater and grocery getter.

I say the biggest thing is the financial standpoint of a move such as this. You want to find out what is financial best for the two of you. I dont agree with my fellow buckeye, modding cars is something you are never going to get away from / be done with/ become tired of / etc. etc. No matter what you have you are always going to want to make "yours" different from the rest. Automotive enthusiast. such as ourselves are not just concerned with modding its the pleasure of knowing our cars, having out hands in their and making it truely a hobby a passion of sorts. So I would have to say once again do what you want to do, just keep a few things in consideration.
1)Praticality
2)Cost analysis
3)Happiness of the lady at home
4)Your ability to "tune" the car ( becuase its what we do!)

Once I think you take these into consideration let me know Ill help ya tear yours down and go look for another.

Appreciate all the help and advice Craig. I still think we trashed my Jackshaft
lol

Let em know what you decide.

getting a new "fun out of the box" car won't solve this problem... it's an addiction no matter what car you have

also, i might be interested in the entire blower setup w/ gagues (including wideband) -- if you guys can advise, what else would I need to make sure my engine was nice and safe?

where would you like to do the work? might be able to get up to Evolution if you want it done there?

thanks in advance,
-nick

EDIT: also, i'd gather that I would have to get a stock crank pulley so as not to mess with blower level of boost, want a silver U/R pulley set as partial trade?

As it stands now, if I can get the blower off the car my girl friend is going to keep it. She wants to keep the wheels on it, probably the exhaust too. I'm going to talk seriously tonight to her.

Jay, you got the thermo

As far as the s/c, I have pretty much everything to make it safe. I would consider trading pullies with you. I would want it professionally removed from my car. I could do most of it, but not sure about a couple of things. Like what goes with the car vs. vortech. PM, if you're still serious.

Valdez, thanks for the pep talk. You and I think alike.

Who ever gets the cats should get the wideband since the bung is welded in there. If you're not going to tune your s/c Machupo you don't need a wideband. It's nice to have though, very active gauge to watch.

Everyone: I finalizing plans to dismantle the car, it looks like I'm not going to keep it after all. Like I said I should have more info Monday.

gotcha -- might just get one put in for peace of mind -- it's going to get tons of tuning on install, but that's what AAM is for

buddy of mine had one in his volvo, pretty neat gadget, fun to watch!
