yeah I have it velcored on to the headliner. I have blacked out the lights on thew main unit so others cannot see (arrows). But i have it mounted directly behind the passenger. Having it on the strut bar wouldnt be as clean and not to sure on how it would work??

so it is just velcroed to the headliner? how well does it hold? did you hardwire it? if so, what wire did you run to? I have looked under the dash, but can't see any wires to tap on to.

 

the unit has not budged in a year and a half and there is not need to make any fancy holders on mess with bolting in on the headliner. I did however run the wire through the headliner, through the passenger side panels and wrapped around the passenger back seat into the power socket in the back. No wires showing. I can try to take pics this weekend hopefulkly if my camera works.
