Just wanted to remind everyone ..

 

Has a meeting location been set? I'm worried we won't find a place to accomodate a group of 10ish, especially on a Friday night. So I called the restaurants that Juan suggested.

Cheesecake Factory @ Tyson's II- Can take reservations for groups of 8 or more, but we must call within 30 minutes of their opening tomorrow. If this restaurant is our choice, then we must call before 11:30am tomorrow.

Olive Garden in Vienna - Does not take reservations on weekends.

I did not call Rainforest Cafe. Although I've never eaten there before, the restaurant looks too family-oriented, plus animal sounds and car clubs don't mix.

What other restaurants are in the Tyson's area? Bertucci's? Fuddruckers?

Let me know what's up...

 

Ok, My wife is going to make reservations for us in the morning for 12 people at 7:30 PM at the Cheesecake factory at Tysons II, under the name "Capital". See you guys there....

Ok, my wife got off the phone with The CK factory, and apparently, they don't take reservations for dinner, only for lunch. Therefore, I'm going to try to get there around 7:00 to get us a table big enough to seat the hopefully 10 people that will be showing up. See you guys tonight.

hey guys, just sort of getting settled back in. Sorry I missed the gathering on Friday, would still like to play a role in the club, I was in NC with Jenny. She had to receive some medical advice, and I wanted to be there for her during it. Nevertheless, I look forward to helping out any way I can. See you at Kelly's on Saturday.

About the meeting. We did have a broad discussion that did address some of the immediate concerns. We discussed a mission statement, and all made goals to make for the next meet up. Which I think Kelly's detailing day would be a great oppurtunity to spend the entire day talking and putting together an official calendar.

In order to get the ball rolling a little quicker, for the first couple of months we plan to meet on the 2nd and last Wednesday of the month. There is plenty of time for everyone to find their role in the club. Right now the location is Fuddruckers in Tyson's Corner, but we are looking for a place that has a meeting or banquet room.

Also, Detailing Day is on Sunday.

 

Just to let everyone know we are installing that wing on Jess's car. He offered me way to much money I couldnt refuse!
