Capital 350Z / G35 Club Organizational Meeting
When: Friday, June 3rd @ 7:30 PM(subject to majority approval)
Where: A Tyson's Corner Restaurant of some sort (preferrably one that is quiet enough to talk 'business' in.
Who: Any and all Z / G owners who are interested in taking an active role in getting the Capital Area Z/G club on it's feet. This will be an actual non-profit organization, so we need people with several backgrounds including accounting or finance, Business administration, Secretarial (as in Secretary of a board, not 'get me some coffee, sugar'), event coordination, etc. If you've got something to offer and the time to offer it, we need you.
This meeting is NOT for people who are just interested in joining the club as a member.
What: Bring yourself and probably something to take notes with and any ideas you have. Once we cover the formation of the club, dues schedule, etc., we should brainstorm on some of the services the club should provide its' members and the activities/events we want to sponsor or support. That's what it's all about, after all.
Why: If you have to ask, please don't show up. J/K
Homework: If you've been a member of a car club, we want to know what kind of stuff your club did. Also, if you have time, do some research on starting a club. I'm sure there are things we'll forget, so we should try to cover the bases. We need to learn the processes for things like obtaining a non-profit number from the state and so-on.
Post here if this date works for you and a restaurant preference or suggestion if you have one. If the date seems to work for folks, maybe we can get a small banquet room or something at one of the restaurants.

i'm in. i just gotta check my schedule to see if i can make it on that day. i think i get back from LA on the 1st so the 3rd shouldn't be a problem.
as far as what i can contribiute, well, let's see, i'm an econ major so i i'm not too bad with financial stuff. i'm pretty good with website design. wouldn't mind grabbing coffee for people either if it would help out.

I do think a logo design ad was threw out there and I dont think anyone has come up with anything. We will keep Tobys brother in mind , only I think the first order of business on vinyls would be to have an actual logo, prior to making them

I'm Def. Interested. Kelly knows what I bring to the table
as far as Juan being the "Capital G/Z, Director of PR"
I will not have him being the director of Puerto Ricans... He's not even Puerto Rican

If I'm not in NJ that weekend, I'll try my best to make it there. I was an Imaging & Digital Arts major at UMBC, so I can bring website design/development, etc. Also owned an online business that I sold back in 02, and obviously now I run ActiveTuning, so I bring an overall business thang I was big into the car show scene two years ago, so I've seen what some of the clubs have done.

Well I just wanted to comment that at least you guys have a better name, which means you're off to a good start. "NationalGClub" is not at all correct for a club that's only in the DC area. "Capital 350Z/ G35 Club" is.
