That's 17 people!!! Now of course not everyone on the list will show up (that's just the way it goes with these things), and some people are not coming to work on their cars, so here's what I'd like to do:

I have room for one in the Garage (That will likely be Juan's car since it's in for major cosmetic surgery), three in the driveway if we pack 'em tight (and we can slide the canopy up and down the driveway as needed), and if we park nose-to-curb, we can probably fit about 6 or 7 on the street front in front of the house, that gets us to around 10 or 11 cars parked. If you're not coming to work on your car, or if you're not bringin' a Z, I'll either have you park in the middle of the circle (we'll have to see if we can do this without pissing off the neighbors) or away from the house a bit (still in sight, of the house, but on an adjacent street with lots of parking).

Once we're all done, I'd like to get a group photo or two from a high-angle (I have window access to the roof of my garage).

As mentioned, if you can show up pre-washed, that would save alot of time, but if not, we have all the necessary stuff to wash your car here.

We'll have the grill going with burgers and dogs, assorted drinks and chips. If you have anything in particular you want to grill, you bring it. If you want beer or other alcohol, you bring it. We'll have the cooler outside and you can put stuff in the fridge.

Juan, you need to be here just a little early so we can get you in the garage before we start filling up the driveway.

 

Hey man, I don't blame you. Most people who see that wet-lime-jellybean look on the SX just go nuts. In fact, it's soooo stunning that people hardly can even look at it or notice it's there. When no one says "dude, that car is hot" when I pull up in the 'S', that's when I know it's sooo hot that they are left speechless.

Did anyone want to take off my bumper and open up the headlights ( in Kelly's over , I dont think the grill will work) Make a group effort to paint my headlights (interior) .. I know with 10+ people we should be able to get rather creative .. let me know so I can pic up the materials..

dammit... just got off the phone w/ the bodyshop that has my console. Wont' be ready until monday. I guess I'll be coming w/ a torn apart interior. NObody look inside my car!!

 

Well.. this just became interesting... got a call from the shipping company... the stuff is all in MD.. and they cant get it delivered until next week! ... but .. all hope is not lost... I've made arangemnts to go pick it up.. I just have to make it to outside of baltimore before 9 pm !

I just want to take a porter cable to my sideskirts... I won't be doing much else so my car shouldn't take too much time. I'll wash it at my apt in the morning and maybe put a coat of zaino on it. Then I'll just sit around and drink some beers (or diet coke - depending on my hangover) and watch the rest of you fools work

 

i just need someone to help me on the hood so i can learn the process and such. then i can spend hours and hours on it at my own place and free up room for other people who need to clean their cars
