Default anyone have a steering wheel puller I can borrow?

my steering wheel had worn a little at the 12 o'clock position and the dealer wouldn't replace it under warranty so I bought a new one off ebay. I'd like to install it one of these days that way I can tinker around w/ recovering the old one (mmm... alcantara). Anyone local have a steering wheel puller I can borrow for a weekend?

What tool does it require? I haven't had to pull a steering wheel in years, so I don't konw what's required. I imagine removing the airbag is a PITA...

honestly, the last steering wheel I removed was off a 1969 mustang and just popped it off w/ my knees. The airbag should be pretty easy - most are just held in by screws and the plug. I may just cough up the dough and buy a puller from autozone or pep boys... just wanted to see if anyone local had one before I did that.

i thought that after the airbag was out then it was one bug nut that holds the steering wheel on. then after that just yank the hell out of it and watch ur face, but i could be wrong.

Are you worried about losing your airbag?

I really want one with red stitching but can't decide if it's worth the risk...I'd kill for the GTR wheel.

Not going aftermarket. I just bought a stock steering wheel to replace mine.
