Ok guys I am about 98% there. I have decided to sell my Z. I have put a whole 300 miles on her this yr. I am too scared to take her to the track and I find car shows kinda boring. Kinda makes no sense to have such a great car that only my garage gets to enjoy.

Not to mention that my two trucks are bone stock and need some attention.

I am taking her down to OC to the Funk Master Flex car show this weekend and will test the waters there. Any clue what I should expect to get for her? Should I just put her on Ebay with a high reserve? thoughts?

Most of you have seen my car (many since I glassed the doors and headliner) So I will not list her mods. I only have ~14k miles on her. All in all I figure there is about $60-70k in her. I don't expect to get a ton for her but I would like to see a good chunk come back.

WTF.. shows boring? ... Guess you guys have not taken a model or 2 back behind the stage/corner.....

 

Well at a high school show I dont think I would want to take the models back in the back .... It may ruin my political career.

What are you doing man!!!! It must me something in the water. You guys are dropping like flies. Keep your Z. You're going to be driving your truck and all of a sudden, A 'Z' is going to come blowing pass you and then the moment, (a single tear will roll down your cheek) DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!! IF YOU ARE TIRED OF CAR SHOWS , SELL ALL OF YOUR SHOW MODS AND JUST ENJOY THE CAR ON THE ROAD.

Man I don't know what to do. Drove her to the ocean this weekend with my little brother and had a ball.

cruising the OC strip was great. The show wasn't that bad either. I won best interior .... imagine that. The import velocity guys (great guys) invited me to put my car on the stage (mike -- where the models where ). So I actually had a good time.

So, I guess for now I will put the whole selling the car thing on hold.Thanks for the thoughts all.

Sly -- the tear came already! I raced a couple of bikes this weekend and D@mn it was fun!!!!!!!!
