Default Creaky clutch and Clicking something (?)

As of late, when I depress my clutch it makes a noticeable sound. Not anything loud or that worrisome, just a bit creaky/squeeky as I depress it. Anybody have a clue what that could be?

And also, it seems that the right side of my suspension (or in the wheel area) clicks a few times normally when I start to move. I have the factory setup and don't really ride the suspension hard (though I do live in DC and deal with those streets). Any clue with this either?

Both of these sounds have come about in the last few weeks. I have 'bout 40k on the clock, if that helps -- thanks!

I have had or am experiencing both problems....

The clutch on my Z was replaced with tranny and I get the click every now and then. It's been 10-12k since replacement and no issues. Shifts better than ever. I wouldn't worry about it.

The click from the suspension is the axle bearings. There is a TSB on this I believe, but I've yet to have it performed. Should though b/c it *does* get annoying. Again, no effect on performance, just an annoyance.

Did you do a search? These two subjects been around for years, but anyways, the clutch making noises is pretty normal in most cars. For some it is just a lube to the assembly, for unfortunate others it was a bad TO bearing. The clicking noises, usually from the back tires are from the axel bearings, there is a TSB on this for replacement.

That's interesting. Had no clue. Figured it was some minor (and not very broad) issue I was having.

Question, though: how do I approach Nissan Service to check my bearings? I mean, I had Browns on Columbia Pike mount my tires the other day and their damn service techs didn't realize I had a staggered setup and mounted them all wrong. Took 4 hours. Just figure I'm going to experience a hassle if I call them up, say I've heard there's a TSB for this and I want to bring it in...any thoughts?

I would do exactly that, call and say i heard there is a TSB for clicking rear axels and tell them your car is doing it. Ask if they have the parts to fix it and then make an appointment.

this place has most of the TSB's per vehicle year. You can look it up to see if your car qualifies.

Ah, that's hot. Thanks for the link, and yeh, I'll be calling them today

And sucks, the TSB regarding front-end alignment says it's been extended to 10/31/05 -- just had my tires replaced that definitely displayed feathering and all that road noise crap. UGH!

I wouldn't worry about getting it serviced by Nissan, I had the clicking rear axel and they fixed without a problem (just had to leave for a day and wait for parts to get it).

Default TSBs

Just dropped Gettel Nissan here in Sarasota a line about fixing the issues below. It seems the previous owner (I just got the car 1 month ago) didn't get any of these done.
