Default ***ATTN: People from EVO meet, check your debit card!***

Over the past few days I've seen some charges come up on my Suntrust checking account that I didn't make. I got in touch with Suntrust to cancel the card. Anyway, I just looked at my card and it has someone else's name on it. Can everyone that has a Suntrust check card please check the name and make sure it's yours. If someone finds that they have mine (Chris Stewart), please contact me asap. The switch must have happened during the lunch at Ruby Tuesday. The waiter probably got it mixed up; we did have a huge party.

Edit: Well, I wasn't going to post the name, but I guess it doesn't hurt anything. Plus, it helps get them aware of what happened faster. If anyone knows the screen name for William Frazier, please PM me or post here asap.

Yeah, wild. The waiter at Ruby Tuesday's must have gotten the bills mixed up and neither of us realized it. I got a new card earlier this week anyway, so I've been using that instead of "my" old one.

I just spoke with Suntrust to explain what happened. My card has been cancelled and the person's card I have will need to file a claim with Suntrust to have their's cancelled (which can be done through Internet Banking). After a few days waiting for transactions to post, we'll each have to fill out a form for the transactions we didn't make so they get refunded. What a pain, huh?

I had that same thing happen at carpool once....and get this, both of us had the same name and bank card! Wachovia was cool, and it was an easy mistake for the bartender to make.

Goodluck!

Was he your long lost Siamese twin that had a scar on the same butt-cheek where you were separated at birth?

That is pretty weird though. What are the odds. I remember in Basic Training in the Army, when we went to chow we had to call out our last name and the last four of our Social Security Number to the guy doing head-count. The guy in front of me had the same last 4 digits. The drill sergeants had us doing push-ups for being morons before they even thought to check our ID's and see that we weren't wrong.
