Default Z is gone

Traded in my Z saturday. I hated to do it but ended up with something just as nice, a Ford F-150 Lightning. Man is she fast. I hopefully will pick up another Z later on when girl gets out of school, but for now I will enjoy this truck. I have already order a exhaust, chip, and pulleys for super for it. Hope to hit 11's. If I see anybody from the forum, don't worry I will still wave because I will always like the Z.

Congratulations. The 350Z is a great car, but not suitable for everyone at all times. Things change and so do your needs. Enjoy the new ride.

Sorry you had to let it go, but glad you got something cool. There is a guy who came to ZDayz with a Lightning, and he was tearin' up the roads with that thing. I'm sure you'll enjoy your new toy.

I hope you have better luck with it than I did with mine. I went the other way and traded in my 2002 Lightning for the Z after I blew 2, yes 2 engines under 35000 miles and the dealer tried to shove it up my *** on the second engine, saying that they had replaced one already (there is a known defect on the #7 cylinder - watch it). I never drove it hard, and all that the truck saw for duty was hauling my GSX-R750 around.

I wish you the best on the Lightning...God knows I loved mine, but Ford hasn't quite perfected how to put together a reliable automobile yet.

I have never not heard anything about this problem on the Lightning forums. So far from everything I have read about problems with them used it that you should check the sparks plugs and spark plug wires. Also, should change out fuel filter. I don't think I will need to worry about that since it only has about 3500 miles on it for a 2002. I actually just wrecked the back end. I was racing a new 2005 mustang going down a parking lot road when a deer shot out in front of me. The back end hit a puddle when I went to hit the brakes and miss the deer and hydro plained into a light pole. Luckly it is not too bad. Just need a new rear axle and driveshaft. She is fast as ****. Everytime I slam her she will just spin out since the back end is so light and it has so much torque. I got her dynoed at steen racing and it came out to 415rwhp and 530rwtq. I made all this extra hp/tq with just a $900 power package. She was dynoing 355rwhp and 428rwtq. I do miss my Z some times since it was so nice looking, but I always wanted one of these trucks. Hope to see everyone around. Also, I got $26,500 for mine Val.
