Default Summit Point, WV 2006?

Any interest in FATT at Summit Point, WV in 2006? It would be great to get several 350Z drivers together on the same day. For more information see http://www.bsr-inc.com/.

LOL. It sounds like you have driven the new Shenandoah course. I think that the old Jefferson course was faster, but the new course is more technical and challenging. Lots of fun.

The schedule for 2006 has not been published. I expect to see a new schedule in January with the first classes in March. For those who has not driven on a road course, this is what the 350Z was built to do. I’ll keep an eye on the BSR site, and update this thread when the new schedule is published.

psst... hey, down here!!

While I realize summit point is closer to most of you, don't forget about Virginia International Raceway... arguably a better track all around, and unquestionably less things to hit, with just as much (if not more) elevation changes... www.virclub.com

Many different clubs to run with, including us, the Triangle Z Club... there are a few spots left for our HPDE February 11-12 on the Full Course, and registration is now open for our HPDE April 8-9 on the North Course configuration... info and details at www.timetrials.net, or go directly to our online registration at www.motorsportreg.com (details about the events there as well)...

The Full Course event Feb 11-12, since its off-season, is the best value at $285 (two days) if you're driving a Z... $305 otherwise... (will probably be at capacity in early January)

The North Course event is $340/$360

PM if you have any questions

Davidv,

Nice to see you are still hitting the tracks... I traded the Z in last night so the only time you will see me up at Summit is with the race bikes...

schedule is not up yet and Im not a 350z owner but I'll be around for the track days at Summit Point:

I'll try to bump the thread up when the 2006 is up and hope that some of us can pick a day to go there.

Cheers

I signed up for the VIR full course with www.nasaracing.net on Feb 17-20. Anyone else going?

I did "Friday on the Track" once at Summit Point. So much fun. I saw a new track and I have to admit it is much more technical then the main track. On the other hand it is not to fast

Keep this thread alive so Z can dominate the track one day

^ do about 110 to 120 mph at the bridge at the new track, I am sure you will get some air as you come down to the Karrousel.

I had some video posted up of me running on the Shennadoah.. it's fast if you know how to keep up with the momentum and pace of the track.
