Congradulations bro! Do it right and take your time. The car is too much of a freak to go messing it up!

As long as the piping ain't bent, it'll work fine. Where are you at on your install? I plan on doing mine myself also, pretty simple or not?

Check the link above, barely in. ECU sent out, a/c line is done, fuel pump assembly has been modified, pump swapped, waiting on the o-ring gasket to put that back in, and I have the injectors out and going back in today along with the ECU that I just received back. Basically tomorrow and Saturday will be getting under the car, and installing the others mods. Not to bad so far just ran into a small problem when an o-ring broke bt I have news ones now.

BTW-I now have a Full Ti 3" JIC single exhaust, I wanted a change from the Injen, and it only weighs 9.8lbs...

Sweet... the feeling after you're done doing something major like a turbo install is incredible. I remember when I did my Eclipse. After I took it out for the first drive and nothing broke, it was crazy how good I felt. Although I couldn't boost, 'cause the damn wastegate actuator was broke (not from me).

How's the JIC? I've never heard a single on a Z... was curious how that and the new Apex'i ExTi performed/sounded.

Yeah I know what you mean. I felt good just to swap the pump, and modify the assemby yesterday-things I have never done. I have never done a project of this magnitude, but I have decent wrenching skills so it was time to take the leap...

This JIC because its Ti and I got the non resonated version is LOUD. I have heard of 2 owners swapping them out cuz it was too loud, Im not some old guy I like the loudness. It performs well, and on TN and APS ST cars has provided good gains. Dont know much about theat Apexi.

I'm the same way. Does it sound more "350Z" than the Injen? (By that I mean closer to stock tone)

Yes the JIC sounds very Japanese NA at least when I heard one with a resonator. the Injen completely ruins the stock tone because its true dual, and on my car withg test-pipes was way loud and aggressive just much different than stock.

Damn Alberto, I am jealous to say the least. It'll basically feel like a new (more powerful) car by the time you finish. We definitely have to meet and give me a ride along when I come back to MD to visit. Good luck with the install!
