Thumbs up Just started my Turbonetics Install !!

Got off work today, myself and a buddy of mine started messing with the kit. We did the fuel pump steps, the AC line is laready done, we mod'd the regulator, drilled the holes, ect, ect. Just had dinner, and Im taking a break. I will swap the injectors in a little bit. I feel so proud to actually be doing my own install, when I first pulled the fuel pump assembly out I was like wtf(I had never even done a fuel pump before), when I got done I felt like I knew it 100X better. Anyways I know not a very exciting post just wanted to share.

I plan on doing injectors later, put the fuel pump assembly in tomorrow after work-Im still waiting on the o-ring to get here tomorrow, and then hit the install hard Friday, and ALL DAY Saturday. If all goes well Ill be boosting before New Years-hopefully not overboosting Ill post pics of the fuel pump mods later...

Charlie-I havent taken off the exhaust yet, I wont get the car up on jack stands until Friday, tomorrow Im only finishing installing the fuel pump assembly. Only mods being changed/removed are the pop-charger, of course my Technosquare NA flash is now TN spec, and the exhaust is now gonna be a JIC single Ti. In addition to the kit Ill be running an oil pan spacer, exhaust, Crawford plenum and UR crank pulley-lets hope my boost holds steady.

MIA-thanks man I will PM you or post here if I have any issues.

Thanks for the kind words guys, Im gonna start the injectors in a few, Ill post up when finished later. When this thing starts up in a few days, all done nothing leaking, Im gonna feel like I just watched my son being born, lol

Quick Q MIA-do you know if TN is flashing ECU's this week? I sent mine in Monday to them, I would imagine they were closed, they would get it Wednesday at the latest and I would have it by Friday. I called Reggie today because I was missing my BOV horn I forgot to include the letter in the ecu box stating I needed it shipped back with the flash. I called him but I never got a call back, I guess he was busy. Just curious if you knew if they were operational this week or not.

They are up and operating this week. I don't think Reggie himself was there today though. I will try to get a hold of someone for you now and let them know to send the horn with your ECU. PM me your name and addy on the ECU so I can forward it on..

Sweet man and congrats. Are you heat wrapping the exhaust piping? If not I think you should really consider it (clean all the piping first, then wrap it before you put it on the car since that will make it much easier)... I have been waiting on my wrap to be shipped to me (along with straps), then I will have to motivate myself one of these Sundays to wrap them.

Good luck buddy hope everything goes well. I finished my install a couple weeks ago and still havent hat a chance to mash on the gas. A couple delays at the shop with one of my 650cc RC injectors went bad so they tossed in some 1000cc inj for the same price. They are also installing the UTEC, map sensor, and the tuner pro, I should get it tommorrow so I will post the numbers.

Good luck

I'll be REALLY interested to hear how your car idles with 1000cc injectors. Mine is "lopey" with the 440's.

Congrats on starting the install, but Reggie was at the office today, and I have to say it may have been my ecu that is what is keeping him busy, going on 2 weeks with my car being completed with no ecu, but TN seems to be trying as hard as they can. They have kept me updated, and my car should be ready Monday, everyone GROUP PRAYER plz . The kit looks spectacular, and I can't wait to drive her.

that's what they said, fine by me, the only problem is my car is covered in an inch worth of dirt, lol. I hope that it is worth the wait, Reggie told me tonight that my ecu was at the Nissan facility, and TN will have it on Friday, good lord's willing, I was told I would have it on Monday, very happy to hear that.

Thats what he told me too. They even sent the ECU (original) to a dealer to get a stock reflash done so they could try again but the thing wouldn't load past halfway...Your new ECU will be done Friday and shipped out is what I heard...

Good news and bad news guys:

Good news-everything is going smoothly, I have both upper and lower plenum off, and injectors are out

Bad news-one of the damn o-rings on the inject, the bottom one that you have to switch from stock bottom to new bottom injector broke as I swapped them. It seemed much harder than the rest and when it came off it was torn Damnit, first pain in the d!ck....so much for finishing tonight.
