Default Urgent request for services

Hey all,
February is my 2 year anniversary with the Z. That means I'm due for state inspection & emissions, which I won't pass. I'm looking for someone in No. VA who can "inspect" my car and "do" an emissions test, if you know what I mean. If you know someone who can help me before the end of the month, please PM me, rather than responding with their info in this thread. $25 to the person who gives me a reference that comes through. Thanks guys!

Curious as to what kind of tests they do in VA? Is it simple OBDII checks?

Allot of places are moving to that (OBDII) Kelly... you are not throwing any codes right now are you?

You might just try to see if you can 'sneak' her thru and not have it put up on a rack.. Nissan dealer in sterling looked at my Z .. hooked it up to thier reader, and passed inspection w/out putting it up on a lift.

I am throwing a code. The issue is that I can't afford to "take my chances" on a pass because once you fail, you're "in the system" as having failed and that just makes it that much harder. I'd rather pay a little extra under the table to know for sure.

Isn't what you are talking about illegal, and wouldn't the person who "inspects" your car get in trouble if this were all to surface?

Oh jesus, we got another Pat300zx on our hands...

I'm sure his car with test pipes, etc. burns HELLISH cleaner than the 1988 Buicks running around.

Note the subtly of the original post....
Keep in mind a large number of people here have modifications that are either not D.O.T approved or a specifically sold as 'OFFROAD USE ONLY'.

What exactly is your point? Are you threatening me? Guess I'll close my own thread to stop the OT posts. If anyone has anything PRODUCTIVE for me, please shoot me a PM. Thanks.
