New owner intro and search
Hello Board,
I've been lurking this board now for a few weeks since purchasing my car. I bought a 2003 SB touring with ventilated baseball glove leather seats (I guess it's the burnt orange color) and ~39k miles on the odom. Judging by the mods that came with the car it looks like the previous owner is or may have been a member here. Im in search of the original owner to get some info on the car engine mods, etc.
From what I can see the car has a jwt popcharger and tein s-tech springs. I think one of the more noticeable mods (which someone may recognize) is that the car has 3 lcd screens; One in the navi cubby and two behind the head rests. The HU is a Alpine 9855. It seems that there were more ICE products in the car but maybe the previous owner parted some of it out.
Since purchasing the car, I've tinted it and plan to cover the headliner in black suede sometime this week, diy.
Anyway the dealer (JKoons in Vienna VA) says that it was a local trade in but then, I can't verify that for sure. If the previous owner is still here, I would be very greatful if we could touch bases and share info.
As for everyone else, I haven't met anyone here yet and hope to make one of the meets soon. I know I missed an opportunity at the AAM meet but I'm sure there will be others.
Thanks for letting me ramble on
Mark

Enjoy it man.
That was my boy Sparks' car. He traded it in for a GTO. He used to have the Konigs on it but sold them to one of my other boys. Yeah, he did more ICE stuff to it... he was in the process of getting a custom box built but I don't think it ever got done. He also had an Xbox in there. As far as performance mods, all he had was the Popcharger, springs and drilled rotors (might of been slotted too... don't remember). Let me know if you want to know more about it, I'll try and get in touch with him and let him know.
Oh, welcome to the wonderful world of Z's!

We need to start a 12-Step group...
"Hello, my name is xxx and I am a Modaholic.."
Group reply... "Hello xxx"
Moderator... "Welcome, you have taken the first step and that is recognizing you have a problem."... etc etc etc..
Seriously every time I think I am going to stop, I talk to someone and get an idea for something new... This is getting ridiculous ...

That's great, I knew it would be an enthusiasts. Sounds like it maybe him too as I got the car from a GM dealer. I just cleaned out the trunk too and found dc-ac convertor and some power plugs from Sony, I guess playstation. Drilled rotors, hmm, no wonder they look kinda new, I have to take it back to the dealer though as I think the pads need to be changed. Yeah, if you could have him contact me, I can pm you my number or have him email me at misidro@gmail.com
As for money pit, I now this all to well.
Prior to this car I leased a 3 series BMW which I spent more money than I should have
. Here's some picture of my "old" car at it's best:
