I am so stuck on this topic is not even funny, since I am sick as a dog I am going to research this weekend a nice set of wheels to decide upon. Any help from you 350z guru's would be helpful since I don't know every wheel that looks good on a Z even though the www.350zonline.com gallery of wheels is a good start. I really just can't justify spending that much money on wheels such as Volk, Racing Hart, etc. All wheels are going to take road damage and unless it is a show car or used exclusively for racing/track then those wheels are not for me. I heard so people mention Ruff Racing. Looking at the 279 or 278 Split 5.
279
278
Any other 19", haha people got me thinking, haven't ruled out the 20's (Bubble, ha) and that matter 20's on a Le Mans Sunset 350z.
All Cali people up in Mid Atlantic? GTNPUZ your car is sweet, one of my favorites on the board. Very clean.
20's are cool, Axis has 20's down pat and a great wheel for the price. I like the Penta model alot. Definitely recommend a kit with 20's though.
Hot Cu I love my 279's....you can check out mine out before buying. I get compliments all the time, the offsets and lip depth are made for our car. Before this I've had Volks and Racing Hart, and bent both sets. No more expensive wheels for me, and already I've tested the Ruff's with serious NoVa pot holes and no problems, so far.
I am just getting a front bumper for now, MSA Type 7 Front Fascia (Nismo Type E replica) and keeping the rest of lines on the Z stock, they look so sexy that I don't want to break them, I just want the face to be a little different then stock to change the appearance from everyone out there. So it may be true to stick with a 19" if I don't get a whole body kit. Here is the front bumper
Here is what the bumper would look like with the stock 350z Touring wheels
I do have the money to spend on the 20" Axis wheels but I don't know if it would be better to get a set of 19" Ruff Racing wheels and then get an exhaust (Invidia G200, Nismo) because after these mod's I probably won't be able to afford anymore high price mods like this since 1. I don't want to spend tons and tons of money on mods and 2. I am trying to save up for a place to live. So if you were in my shoes, what would you do? I wish I had the money that everyone else had to mod there car, hey maybe I will start washing and waxing everyone's car in the Mid-Atlantic Forum to get some money for mods, hahahaha!
Paid a visit to a local wheel and tire shop looking for 19'' Ferrada f3 wheels, but he had these on picture included on floor for 1400 set, 1900 with tires. Any feedback? I'm a little hesitate because I like the 5 star look, but this is a good deal. These are what I think looks good, anybody else like these?
I agree with you, I originally wanted to run the 19's (5 spoke wheel pictured with 275/245 combo, but this clown ws trying all he could to sell me on any other wheel he had on the showroom floor. He insisted on putting one on my car to see if I like it, but I told him I didn't like the style wheel and it was to big in my opinion. So I'm shopping around for the other wheel I have pictured but they are in hot demand and most wheel outlets are low on stock.
Oh, come on! Who doesn't like more rotating mass, accelerates and brakes so much faster...

The five-spoke is a good looking wheel but unless it's forged, I'm guessing it'll still be heavy.
I run exclusively 19" forged wheels with lighter tires and while my wheels are still light (at ~20# each), vis a vis most replica wheels, they're still not as responsive as, say, a set of 18" RPF1s (with light tires). Best performance and strength combination is going to be sub-20# wheels with a full weight of around 40-43#/corner (or less of course.)
However, if you're not pushing your setup hard (track, AX, or even hills running), the extra few pounds isn't going to kill ya. My Nismo V3 rears were boat anchors at 29# for 19x10 (compared to my LMGT5s or LMZ5 S-Tunes at 20#); but any of my cars with them on were just fine (because the front 18s were OK-lightness so decent steering response; until I really started to push on 'em. Then, acceleration suffered a slight bit.)
