Thanks for the kind words. Main damage is a bent rear wheel. The tire didn't go flat, but the wheel bent just enough to break the seal.

I beat the **** out of the bend to smooth it out. I also scratched the driver's rim and front mud flap/splash guard.

I understand all the discussion of having good rubber, and trust me, I couldn't agree more. I've been trying to hold out until 4/26 when my new wheels/tires (BFG KDW2's) arrive.

I went back to the scene and it appears that the section of curb that I hit was not rounded.

Bert- stupid me. VDC was off.

Sorry to hear that Rob. Most important part is that you are ok. Hopefully the new wheels will come in soon so you don't have to worry about buying replacements.

keith...I said the same thing about the wheels. I think the rowboat transporting them got capsized by Hurricane Bert.

I'm always up to something...

Albert-

Thanks for your concern. New wheels should be here 4/26. I might look for replacements through the forum, but I have to get all four wheels off to see the possible extent of damage to the inner wheel.

Awesome. I just spoke to my guys... It is not longer going to look as I envisioned. Appears the reality of a driving/racing car and the money already put into certain places are prohibitive to what I wanted to do.

So, now I am REALLY looking forward to seeing what you come up with. I am sure it will be really sweet if you are getting ideas from these pics.

Good luck and will be waiting for updates.
